Chapter 74: A heartbreak a day keeps the loved ones away

Olivia was sat at the breakfast table, head in hand and the hood of her robes concealing her from the view of anyone else.
She had woken that morning with a sickening feeling in her stomach and a killer migraine, to the point where stomaching food was far from a possibility.
She sat beside Harry and opposite Hermione, finding peace in their unspoken words as she tried to fight off what she was feeling. No matter how hard she tried it wouldn't disappear leaving her to think it was a warning.
"Stop it Ron, your making it snow." Hermione had scolded Ron in a low tone, prying Olivia to open her eyes and see the sight for herself. A faint smile grazed her chapped lips as she saw the small white snow drops falling around the table.
"You do you know it's me?" Ron gaped incredulously, "it could fine we be Olivia."
"Definitely not me." Olivia groaned instantly, brushing the snow from her shoulder.
"Are you sure your alright?" Hermione worried.
"I'm fine 'mione, just a little sick feeling and a headache. It's nothing I can't handle honest." She assured, leaving Ron to drop his wand onto the table.
"Tell me how I broke up with Lavender again."
Olivia snorted and pushed down the hood of her cloak. For the first time since she'd sat down Harry looked up from reading his potions book to glance at Hermione, "Um, well, s-she came to visit you in the hospital .. and you .. talked. I don't believe it was a particularly long conversation."
"Your telling me." Olivia mumbled under her breath, Harry snorting besides her.
"Don't get me wrong I'm bloody thrilled to be shot of her, it's just .. she seems a bit put out." Ron said.
Harry and Olivia turned in their seats to look at Lavender who was seated behind them while Ron and Hermione moved to look. An amused smirk formed on Olivia's face as she winked at the Gryffindor while she bent her spoon in half in anger, "Yes, she does doesn't she?" Hermione said, her tone holding amusement as Lavender continued to press the spoon she was gripping down onto the table.
They turned back around again, "You say you don't remember anything from that night?" Hermione asked, "nothing at all?"
Ron seemed conflicted as Olivia dropped her head into her hands again, "There is something.." The ginger said, causing the three around him to look up and share hopeful glances, "but it can't be. I was completely boggled wasn't I?" He asked after a minute, the three sighing.
Hermione let out a breathy laugh and looked down to the paper laid out in front of her, "Boggled."
Olivia watched the girl sympathetically, resisting the urge to lean over the table and smack Ron round the head with Hermione's paper. Instead she chewed on the bottom of her lip, keeping quiet.
"Harry." Hermione whispered, looking up again, "That's Katie." She said, Harry only returning her with a confused glance, "Katie Bell."
Olivia looked up, and looked around the Great Hall curiously, "Where?" She asked as Harry got up instantly and approached the older Gryffindor.
"What's he doing?" Asked Ron skeptically.
"What's it look like he's doing you numb nut." Olivia snapped accidentally while turning away from watching Harry and Katie converse.
