I smiled and looked at Piper, who was leaning on me. We were waiting for the Jercy duo to arrive. "Annabeth?" she asked, looking up at me. "Yeah?"

"Do you think our moms approve?" she asked, her brow furrowing. I sighed. "I... don't know. They probably already know. Especially your mom, Pipes." I explained. She shrugged. "Oh, she'll approve. I hope."

"We're here, pipabeth!" Jason announced, an arm around his boyfriend. I rolled my eyes. "Fine, Jercy." I smirked and Piper snuggled closer to me.

"I'm cold."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

I pulled her closer and she sighed in contentment. "So, why're we here?" they asked.

"Well, you see-"

A blindingly white light flashed, and suddenly, Athena appeared in front of us, looking... majestic....?

"Ah, Annabeth. Piper. Percy, Jason." she said, grinding her teeth at Percy's name. "Why are you here?" I shot. She sighed and rubbed her temples. "Because I just wanted to... officially approve of you and Piper." she said quickly.

"So, who forced you? Aphrodite?" I asked. "...The answer to that useless question won't help you get on with life, will it?" Athena nearly snapped. "But if you really are a curious soul, which, I feel that you are, then the answer to your idiotic question is yes."

I felt Piper stiffen under me. "...Well, that's a first."

"Yes, McLean, yes it is. Anyways," she continued with a sigh. "I hope you have fun with my daughter, Piper." Athena shot a small smirk at Percy and then Jason. "Mom!" I exclaimed. "Also, regards from Zeus."

She glanced at me and then, in a flash, disappeared like nothing had happened.

"...Wow, Aphrodite convincing Athena? That's a first." Piper said. "Probably she went in her own will. And tried not to let it look like the goddess of love bossed her around." I said. She shrugged. "Ya heard that, Jace? Athena gave us regards." Percy said with an eye roll. "Well, at least she noticed us." Jason said. I shrugged. "Oh, well."

Piper sat up and stared straight at me. "All right, what are we here for?" she asked crossly. I shrugged and kissed her.

She relaxed.

We broke apart.

Only to find Jercy in a 'small' session. I rolled my eyes and Piper still looked dazed.

"Wow, they really go for it, huh?" I whispered to her. She nodded, flustered. "Um, I think this is our cue to go." she said, motioning to the couple who were... Wow, they were going all out.

"So that's why you didn't want to stalk them." I whispered. She nodded and grabbed my hand, and we headed towards our cabins.
