"So where are you right now?" Alec's voice echoed through Jace's head.

"Madrid. We got here a little while ago." Jace replied.

"Babe! We gotta go! We'll be late!" Clary called.

"Have they told you anything?" Alec's voice asked.

"No. But we're going to a thrift shop looking for something." Jace thought, in response.

"JACE!" Clary yelled

"I gotta go. I'll let you know what happens." Jace said.

"Try to act natural. If you act normal, they won't suspect anything." Alec advised.

"Okay. Thanks Alec. I'll let you know what happens when we get back." Jace said. He walked out of his room and saw Clary standing with her arms crossed. She was wearing a black long sleeve shirt and a black, knee length skirt with black converse.

"And you aren't even dressed! What have you been doing?" Clary said, sighing. She shook her head and walked towards the mirror, fixing her hair.

"What do you mean not dressed?" Jace asked, looking down.

"He looks fine Clary. Now we have to go. Open a Portal." Sebastian said.

"What's the magic word?" Clary asked, fixing her hair.

"The magic word is tick tock Clarissa." Sebastian said shortly.

"Do not. Call me that!" Clary said, glaring at Sebastian. Sebastian looked at her.

"That's not my name. Do not call me that." She snapped. Sebastian rolled his eyes and she fixed her skirt.

"Clary, the sooner you build the Portal, the sooner we get back." Jace said, taking her hand. Clary smiled and kissed him.

"Okay." Clary said simply, before turning to the blank wall and drawing a Portal rune. Sebastian grabbed her hand and she grabbed Jace's hand.

"Let's go." Sebastian said. Clary rolled her eyes and the trio walked into the swirling contents of the Portal.

"Where are we?" Jace asked. Clary looked up at the sign.

"Antigüedades de García. It's an antique shop." She said.

"What are we doing here?" Jace asked. Sebastian groaned.

"So many questions." He muttered. Clary turned to Jace and smiled.

"You'll see." She said softly. He kissed her quickly before they walked into the shop. Jace looked around and looked at Clary.

The walls of the shop were lined with weapons and various items were on pedestals or in glass display cases. Each display had a little card with a description written in Spanish.

Clary appeared beside him and gently grabbed his hand.

"Do you understand Spanish?" She asked in a hushed voice.

"Some of it. Not as much as Sebastian." Jace said, pointing to the other boy, who was arguing with an employee in rapid Spanish.

"He knows almost every language." Clary said.

"Is that so?" Jace asked. Clary nodded and the employee walked into a back room.

"She's grabbing it. It shouldn't be long now." Sebastian said.

An inhuman scream came from the back room and Clary jumped. Two demons came crawling out of the back room and Sebastian chuckled.

"Only two? Where's the challenge?" He asked. Clary and Jace both pulled out their seraph blades and Clary smirked at her brother.
