"Clary lets go!" Sebastian yelled.

"I'm not ready!" Clary yelled back. She continued to do her makeup. She was sitting at her vanity in a short, silver glitter dress with a full skirt. Jace chuckled.

"What are you laughing at, Blondie?" Clary asked, smiling. Jace looked at her.

"Nothing. Where are we going?" Jace asked.

"A club. Sebastian needs information for the next part of our plan." Clary explained.

"Why do we have to go?" Jace asked.

"Because. It'll look better. And it'll be fun!" Clary said happily.

Jace felt his heart sink. His Clary would've preferred to stay home and watch Disney movies instead of dressing up and going out.

"Are you sure? We could stay home and watch a movie." Jace offered.

"What? Why would we do that? We get to go to a Spanish club! That's going to be way better than any movie." Clary said.

"CLARY! LETS GO!" Sebastian yelled.

"By the Angel! I'M COMING!" Clary shouted back. She put her makeup brush down and walked over to Jace.

"We can have a movie night tomorrow if you want?" She offered. Jace smiled.

"Sure. We'll do that." He said. Clary smiled and kissed him.

"CLARY!"

"By the Angel, if he doesn't shut up I'm gonna kill him." Clary groaned before kissing Jace again.

"I love you." She said.

"I love you too." Jace said. Clary kissed him once more before pulling her black pumps on.

"Come on, lets go before Sebastian-"

"CLARY COME ON!"

"Yells again." Clary said. Jace laughed and took Clary's hand, standing up. Clary smiled and the pair walked downstairs.

Sebastian stood by the front door with his arms crossed.

"Good God, it took you long enough!" Sebastian said. Clary rolled her eyes and grabbed her phone and her purse before grabbing Jace's hand.

"Come on Sebastian, let's go!" Clary said. Jace turned around and saw Sebastian looking at Clary with wide eyes.

"Sebastian! Quit standing around and let's go!" Clary said impatiently. Sebastian looked at Jace before following the pair.

Jace looked over at Clary who was leaning against the bar.

"Sebastian. This is taking too long." Clary said loudly.

"Just a few more minutes. He'll be here soon." Sebastian said. Clary groaned and watched as a ball of silver exploded over the dance floor.

"I'm not waiting anymore." She decided.

She got off her chair and grabbed Jace's hands, pulling him into the crowd of people. She spun herself around and Jace wrapped his arms around her waist.

Another ball of silver exploded and Clary laughed as drops scattered in her hair and down her dress. Jace smiled and kissed her. There were drops of silver on her lips, making the kiss salty sweet and Clary smiled.

"I love you." Clary said.

Jace smiled and kissed her again, still tasting the salty sweet from the drops of silver. A girl bumped into them and muttered something in Spanish. Clary gave her a dirty look before spinning again.
