Vallory pov
I jogged behind a sprinting Carol into the courtyard, and sure enough, a tall, skinny, blonde and blue eyed girl sat on the hot pavement next to Carl, causing my blood to boil.
"SOPHIA!!" Carol screeched, Sophia flung around and ran towards her mother.
"MOM!" Sophia screamed, running into her moms open arms.
Rick and Carl joined the hug, leaving me standing by myself, shifting from foot to foot. Sophia then gave Carl a huge hug then kissed him. I felt tears sting my eyes as I ran off toward the prison, ignoring Carl who was yelling my name. I ran into Charlie as I was sprinting up the stairs, he dragged me to his cell and made me sit down.
"What happened?" He asked, looking worried, "Is everyone okay?"
"Yeah," I sniffled, "No one died, yet." I whispered the last part, but I knew Charlie heard me because he chuckled.
"Okay," Charlie sighed, looking slightly relieved, "Then what happened?"
I explained everything that happened in Carol's cell and in the courtyard. Charlie shook his head and made a tsk sound.
"Not very surprised, I saw Carl flirting with Beth yesterday to." Charlie said, looking at me apologetically.
"Wow." Was all I could say.
Charlie then made me go to my dads cell while he went and 'talked' to Carl. I had to explain to dad what happened, then try to talk him out of shooting Carl with an arrow.
"Honestly, never really liked Sophia. She cried to much and always attracted walkers with her earsplitting scream." My dad muttered, causing me to laugh. At least I wasn't the only person who didn't like her. Charlie came back into the cell, he told me he did what I'd asked, but he looked like he was hiding something.
"What? What happened? Tell me!" I begged, pulling on his arm.
"Okay, Okay.." He sighed, then took a deep breath and rushed out in one long sentence, "Carl told me whatever he didn't care then asked out Sophia I'm really really really sorry."
I felt my heart break, and a tingle tear escaped my eye, but I wiped it away before anyone could see it.
"Whatever, I'm fine. I'll get over it. Charlie, let's go play basketball, see ya later, daddy." I sighed, kissing my fathers cheek.
"See ya, sweetie." My dad replied.
"Bye Daryl." Charlie called as we ran out of the door.
~Time Skip~
"Okay, let's play H.O.R.S.E." Charlie huffed, holding his side.
"Why?" I laughed, we were already playing P.I.G., which I was winning, might I add.
"Because it has more letters." He breathed, causing me to laugh.
I got in my stance and shot, making it.
"Nothin' but net." I laughed.
I turned my head and saw the whole group (except for Daryl, Charlie, me, and the Woodbury kids) sitting by a bond fire and catching up with Sophia. I shook my head and passed the ball to Charlie. My dad strolled over to us from the watch tower, stealing the ball from Charlie and making a shot, which he made.
"Nothing but net." He quoted in a mocking tone.
I rolled my eyes and laughed as Charlie missed a shot. I saw Sophia peek over at us and yell for my dad, who just flipped her off, causing Carol to gasp. I fell to my knees and started laughing so hard I couldn't breath, Charlie and my dad gave me weird looks before laughing also. Carl looked over at us from the fire so I jumped on Charlie's back, forcing him to give me a piggy back ride. I hopped down and ended up getting scooped up by my dad, who swung me around, causing me to shriek. I knew better than to scream very loudly though.
After a while, my dad, Charlie, and I headed inside, followed by the bonfire group.
