Calyxe's POV

The mansion is filled with sadness when she was taken for her punishment. When Mom and Dad found out about it a while ago, they cried, especially Mom. They want to find her but they know that Chairman and Chairwoman won't let them find her.

I'm worried.

I'm worried for everything. What if she gets injured a lot? What if she comes back, unrecognizable? What if she dies from being tortured?

"Hyung?" I sighed as I looked at him.

"It's cold here. What are you thinking?" He's still innocent. Probably, Courtney told him that she went overseas for a business.

"Go inside. It's cold." He pouted as he turned his back from me.

"You're always like this." I sensed sadness in his voice.

"I heard that Courtney has been excused for three days."

"Yes. They said that their Chairman excused her."

"Three days? How private that matter is?"

"I don't know. But I think, it's bad."

"Right. I can smell danger and I can feel goosebumps."

"Ya! Did you see the post?"

"What post?"

"Here. That's the status of Courtney."

"Oh! I think she's really in danger!"

"Let's see when she comes back."

"The question is, will she come back?"

"Who is the guy she can't protect?"

"Is it Chase? Calyxe? Cyrus? Craig?"

"How could you talk about my sister when I am around? Go get a thing called dignity." Are they blind or something? They can see me, can't they? How could they talk about her?

What a shame.

"Courtney called you, didn't she?" I faced Chase.

"She did."

"Did she mention a place where she could possibly be?" I looked at him with my forehead creased.

If she mentioned one, I am probably at that fvcking place now.

"Why are you so worried about my sister? Can't you just wait for her to come back?"

"Isn't it obvious? I like her. I like your sister." Napamaang ako bago ngumisi. He just confessed to me and that's brave.

"Oh. I'm speechless."

"Did she mention a place? I asked Cyrus and Crystal, they said that she didn't mention a place to them so I'm hoping she could mention one to you."

"No. She didn't mention a place. Chairman won't let us know either." He sighed and turned his back to me.

"Do you know Courtney?" I asked and he faced me again.

"What kind of question is that?"

"I'm asking you."

"I know her name, not her story."
