Today is the second trial and everyone's already prepared.

Nasa kaliwang bahagi ng kwarto ang dalawang Prosecutor. Ang isa ay nakangisi na para bang ito na ang huling trial na mangyayari para sa kasong ito. Sa harap nilang dalawa ay isang bunton ng mga papel — ang mga nakalap nilang ebidensiya.

Sa kanang bahagi naman ay nakaupo sina Calyxe at ang Lawyer nito.

"All rise. The Judge is entering." Tumayo ang lahat at pumasok ang Judge. Umupo ito at umupo na din ang lahat.

"Your Honor, we continue the case about the plane crash which killed five people, injured six people and kept two people missing. The Defendant is the number one Suspect of bombing the private plane."

Tumango ang Judge bilang senyales upang magsimula na ang trial.

"Your Honor, we once submitted the analyzed fingerprint of the Defendant on the previous trial. We would like to submit it again, Your Honor." Tumangong muli ang Judge, senyales na pwede nitong gawin ang kanyang ninanais.

"We submitted the analyzed fingerprint again because that's the only proof we have for the mean time. The Pilot's not yet awake and still in the state of comatose." Humarap ang Prosecutor sa Judge.

"Your Honor, even though we didn't have the Defendant's approval in getting his fingerprint, we still can't let go of the fact that we recovered his fingerprints on the bomb attached on the plane that was found in an island near China.

And we found out one reason why he killed his own sister." Bulungan ang naghari sa loob ng silid sa ilang segundo bago nagtungo ang Prosecutor sa mesa nito at may kinuhang plastic. Nakalagay dito ang isang papel. Humarap siya sa Judge at itinaas ang plastic.

"This evidence contains the amount of money that will be inherited to the Emmanuelle's children. It turned out that his sibling will be receiving a larger amount of money than him."

Naguguluhang napatingin si Calyxe sa Lawyer nila.

"I don't even know how much I'll be receiving." Mahinang ani nito.

"Defendant, are you aware of it, that's why you planned this whole thing?" Calyxe was about to reply but the Lawyer held his shoulder to tell him not to answer.

"Did you kill your sister?"

"The Prosecutor is leading the Defendant, Your Honor."

"Impede. You may begin the cross-examination." Ani ng Judge sa Lawyer at saka ito tumayo.

"Your Honor, the Defendant doesn't even know the exact amount of money that will be inherited to him. How come that they know about the will when the receiver himself doesn't know? Isn't that strange and unusual?"

Napatango ang Judge at ang mga nanonood. The lawyer was about to talk when the door suddenly opened and a man in a wheelchair entered.

"I'm the pilot of the plane. I came to testify."

"I swear by Almighty God that the evidence I shall give shall be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth."

Ang lahat ay tahimik. Nasa gitna ang pilot dahil sa gusto nitong magtestify. Calyxe already gave up his hope dahil alam niyang binayaran ang pilot ng kung sino man para siguraduhing makulong siya.

"He planned this whole thing. He talked to me that if ever the plane crashes, he'll take care of everything that I need. We talked for ten minutes because I've had a hard time thinking about it. He have a very nice offer that's why I felt confused between what's right and what's wrong."
