Thursday: Jack and Caiti

Jacks POV:

Her cute Australian accent.

Her perfect flowing brown hair.

Her beautiful eyes.

Her adorable brown framed glasses.

She was flawless. I couldn't believe, a girl so amazing is with me. She was mine. I could proudly call her my girlfriend, and she could call me her boyfriend. Our relationship was only missing one word that meant everything.

Love.

Tonight was the night it would happen.

Tonight, that word would be part of our relationship.

But I had to get to the date first, of course.

Me and Caiti arrived at the mini golf course.

She was wearing a warm cozy outfit that she looked perfect in. Hell, she looked perfect in everything.

Hole 1/8: Of course the easiest hole to score with. But I helped Caiti anyways.

She constantly completed me on my golfing skills, and I completed her on her living skills.

Hole 2/8: A bit more challenging, but still easy.

I repeated my same process with helping Caiti line up her put, and helped her measure the strength to put to the ball.

Hole 3/8: Still challenging, but easy.

Hole 4/8: The hole where it gets more challenging, and less easy. We were half way through the course, and I didn't want this date to end. When we were together, the time was infinite.

Hole 5/8: This one took us a bit longer for us to get in, but we did it anyways.

Hole 6/8: the 3rd hardest hole of the course. After 5 try's of trying to get the ball in the hole, Caiti stopped and looked at me.

"I love you." She said.

She said it. And she looked so perfect saying it too.

Quick say it back.

"I love you too, Caiti." I said back to her.

The last two holes were a blur, but I can remember us laughing and goofing off with the course decorations.

We finished the last hole, and then went back to the main parking lot, for Geoff to pick us up.

"I really love you Caiti, and I've been waiting a whole year for the right time to say it, and this was our night." I said to her.

"I know. I love you so much." she said while pulling in for a kiss.

After a few minutes of waiting, Geoff finally pulled up next to us.

We drove for 20 minutes, and in those 20 minutes, I couldn't stop thinking about the night.

My girlfriend, sleeping on my shoulder, was the world to me. And I would do anything, to keep her with me.
