Readers POV:

I scrolled through my contacts looking for Barbara's contact info. I eventually found it and click on 'text message' and began to compose a message.

"What do I say? How do I say 'Barbara I was being selfish bitch and I'm sorry for tell everyone that you made out with Gavin' in the nicest way possible?" I asked Michael and Ray.

"Just tell her you made mistake at lunch and you were sorry if you embarrassed her." Michael said in response.

"Yeah that sounds good. Michael's better with people then I am." Ray joked.

"Okay so here I go...."

Me: Barbara I'm sorry about lunch. I just got upset at Gavin and I'm not mad at you but you have every right to be mad at me. I want to make things right between us.

Barbara: I'm not mad. I totally understand your view point. And I know you don't start shit unless you're angry. I don't blame you for any of this.

Me: Great. I'm glad we're on the same page.

Barbara: Me too. But if I were you, I would apologize to Gavin. He was way more hurt then any of us.

Me: I know. I think I might do that in person.

I told Ray and Michael what happened between Barbara and I. They both were relieved, so the next and last one was Gavin.

"I think I should handle this in person." I said.

"I think so too. We can just walk to his house. Ray and I can just hang out with Geoff or something." Michael said.

We all agreed and began our walk.

"What if he doesn't want to talk?" I asked.

"If he doesn't, he doesn't. But I know Gavin is a reasonable guy and if he doesn't listen the first time, then just give it time." Michael said.

"You're right. So here I go...." I said as I approached Gavin's house.

I stepped onto the porch and knocked on the door. After a little waiting, I heard the locks begin to click. The door creaked open, and Gavin's mother stood with in the crack of the open door.

"Oh (y/n) hello." She said while opening the door wider.

"Hi. May I speak to Gavin?" I asked a bit too eagerly.

"Sure. He should be in his room." She responded. Last time this happened, he was exchanging saliva with Barbara.

I gently walked up the stairs up to Gavin's room. I approached his door and gently knocked, being polite this time.

"Who is it?" I heard Gavin's voice say behind the door.

"It's me." I said softly.

I heard heavy footsteps and loud thumping in the large room. Gavin quickly opened the door, and I noticed him panting a bit.

"Hey Gavin...." I said nervously.

"Hello...come in please." He said while escorting me in.

I took a seat on his bed, and he followed shortly. And then I began to speak,

"I want to apologize for lunch. I was just angry about the whole thing. I'm sorry it ended the way it did and I'm sorry I embarrassed you in front of the guys. I just don't need you mad at me.." I said looking at Gavin.

"I'm not mad. And I accept your apology. I was being a dick by lying about it." He said, "and I couldn't be mad at you....because I...." He stopped for a while.
