Week of Dates- Tuesday

Tuesday: Geoff and Griffon.

Geoff's POV:

I was practically counting down the seconds, until Griffon would be mine for a night. This date could affect my whole future in a positive, or a negative way. Lets hope for the positive.

I got into my truck, and started the engine. While I did, I got out my phone and texted Griffon that I was on my way.

After a few minutes of driving through a neighborhood, I finally got to her house.

I was about to get out and go to the door, until I realized she was already waiting on the porch.

She wore a simple and casual black dress, and green tights. It was simple, but beautiful.

I decided to take her to the wood works walk in Austin, it was basically where they had a bunch of wood carvings of abstract animals, and people.

Once we got to the field it was at, We both go out of the car, and stood at the entrance.

"This is amazing." She said with sparkle in her eyes.

"I thought you'd might like this. I saw your project for wood works, and that camel standing on a mountain with a rabbit on its back, was amazing!" I complimented.

"Wow. You are the first person to figure what that was. Not even the teacher could figure it out." She responded.

"I guess I see things the way you do.." I joked.

"You do. And that's what I like about you. I noticed your tattoo sketch book...those are really cool." She said.

Wow. She noticed my tattoo book? She must've really been observing me.

Wait wait.

Did she say 'that's what I like about you'? she likes me??r

"Yeah...uhm thanks. I plan one day to get all of them. And maybe a few piercings..." I said.

"Yes! oh my gosh I've been wanting a nose piercing, since I was like...12." She said.

This girl was my match.

She was the one.

We continued to talk and walk around all the carvings, until we saw them all.

I escorted Griffon back to my truck, and we headed back to her house.

"Hey Geoff... can I tell you something?" she asked while turning down the radio.

"Yeah. What is it?" I responded.

"I've liked you for a really long time, and I couldn't have been more happy when you asked for my number." She said.

"I've liked you since the 9th grade..." I added quietly.

"Well, looks like this is a good day for the both of us." She said winking.

When we go to her house, I walked her to her door.

She gave me a hug, and took my hands.

"Thank you for this beautiful night Geoff." She said.

The words made my heart melt, but in a good way.

"A beautiful night, for a beautiful girl." I responded and immediately regretted.

Stop being so goddamn cliche!

Quick Geoff! Think quick....uhhh.... Kiss her.

So I did. I leaned in close, and she leaned into as well until our lips collided.

The kiss was short but sweet. But man did it feel good.

"See you soon Geoff." She said as she went inside.

This was the best night ever.

I needed to tell someone. so I told the first person on my contact list.

Me: I kissed her.

(Y/n): Sah-weet.

(Y/n): Wait, who'd you kiss?

Me: Griffon. From my wood works class..

(Y/n): Oh yeah her! Damn Geoff, you hit the jackpot.

Me: I did. And I really like her.

(Y/n): That's awesome. I'm so happy for you!

Me: Thanks. And also thanks for keeping Gavin distracted. He no longer bugs me with his needs.

(Y/n): Ya of course.

Me: He really loves you, you know that?

(Y/n): He hasn't said it.

Me: He will. Trust me, he will. He's waiting for the right time, and to see if you really love him too.

(Y/n): I do. I do really love Gavin free. But shhh its a secret for now ;)

Me: I'll keep my mouth shut. But good luck in England. He turns extra british when he's around his friend and his brother.

(Y/n): thanks Geoff. And I hope it works out with griffon. And I'm sure It will.

The night was over, and everyone was happy. What more could I ask for?
