I woke up to a warmth around my body. I shifted to see who was hugging me.

Michael.

He must've of stayed over and I didn't realize....

I got up and grabbed my phone and checked my messages. None. Ray didn't reply at all. I decided to text him.

Me: Wanna continue our game of Halo tonight?

Ray: Nah. I was thinking we could hang out in person.

Me: yeah sure...but I need to talk to you..just call me.

I waited a few seconds for Ray to call me. It was 6:45 am and Michael Jones was laying in my bed. I crept out of the room hoping not to disturb Michael.

Ray: Hello?

Me: Ya sorry....hey. You won't believe what happened last night...

Ray: Does it have to do with Michael? did he kiss you or something?

Me: No no. I just need your help I don't know what to do...

Ray: Uhm okay...?

Me: Well last night Michael stayed the night and I wasn't aware of it, until I woke up this morning with him hugging me and he's still sleeping in my bed and I just don't know what to do.

Ray: ...uh just wake him up I guess.

Me: No that's not what I need help with. Gavin told me he thinks Michael likes me. But I don't want him to like me! I want him to like Lindsay!

Ray: Yeah him and Lindsay would be a better match than you and him.

Me: Dammit Ray! I'm serious.

Ray: okay well we can talk at school. I'm sure you and Michael need to get ready.

And then he hung up.

I went back into my room to wake up Michael.

I jumped on the bed and ruffled his hair until he woke up.

"The hell are you doing?" he yelled at me.

"You need to wake up. It's time for school." I said blankly.

"Oh my gosh. Did I sleep over? I'm so sorry. I'll just go..." he said shamefully while getting up.

"You're not sorry Michael."

"You're right I'm not." Michael said with a smirk.

"Wait Michael..." I said before he shut the door, "wait for me in the coldasac when you're ready." I said smiling at him.

A shot of joy filled his eyes as he went out the door.

I finished getting ready and I headed towards the coldasac.

Michael was already there waiting. I began talking...

"So you know that girl I pointed out to you at lunch?"

I asked.

"Yeah..." he said hesitantly.

"Well, she happens to be really into video games like me and you and the other guys. And she's also really pretty." I winked at Michael.

"You trying to set me up or something?" he said looking at me.

"Nahh. I just want you to know who she is...." I lied of course.

"Hah okay then. But she does seem pretty dang cool" Michael laughed.

After walking for 5 minutes, I noticed Ray turning the corner in front of us.
