"How dare you, you stupid girl." My father screams at me. I try not to pay attention to his harsh words reminding myself that tonight was my last night. I only have to keep this facade up for a couple more hours. "I can't believe you were even born, your worthless. You. Are. Nothing."That remark makes me laugh. I laugh until I'm crying. Wiping the tears that are rolling down my face.

My head turns sideways. In an instant my hands cover my cheek. The stinging pain not substiding. Sad tears form in my eyes. "I hate you." I whisper turning on my heels and walking away.

My cloths are already packed. My suitcase at the front door. All I had to do was wait, wait until my father went to sleep. Before I get in bed I get on my knees and pray. "Hey mommy, it's me Quinn. I'm finally escaping. I wish you were still here maybe then I wouldn't need to escape. Wish me luck, I love you." I get off my knees and get into bed. Darkeness taking over my eye lids.
