Peter tucked all his things in his backpack but didn't go out. He stood there, thinking if his aunt really meant what she said or if it was out of anger or some metaphorical thing.
He didn't want to believe that May would actually kick him out, he didn't want to believe that his aunt was capable of doing something like that.
But, as a very good chronometered, five minutes passed and he found his aunt looking at him with an unimpressed look, arms crossed over her chest and an eyebrow arched, he knew she was being serious, really serious about him not being hers anymore. And it scared him to death.
Part of him told Peter that he didn't care, that he shouldn't care, he shouldn't waste tears or thoughts in a person who clearly wanted nothing to do with him.
Another part was freaking out because, where was he going to stay? What was he going to eat? He knew it couldn't be too long before his aunt called and told him to come back and she was sorry, but he was sure that for the night, at least, he couldn't come back.
And another different part was going through every single memory he had with his aunt, and was mourning something that he didn't even knew if he had.
He went out, backpack in his shoulder, not even caring to use the door.
He did the only thing that seemed a little appropriate at the moment: call Tony.
He waited for a few seconds before he heard some answer in the other end of the line.
"Hey, kid! What's up? It isn't Saturday, your aunt is going to be mad"
Yeah... his aunt.
"I- I- May kicked me out, sort of, I think" he answered lamely, the realization hitting him like a truck and he felt wetness in his eyes.
"What? Sort of? What does it mean, Peter?!" Tony was a little surprised and concerned, not every day you have a call from your kid telling you that he was kicked out, sort of.
"She told me- told me that she wasn't going to be responsible of me anymore and that- that I had only, like, five minutes to pack and go out"
"And why's that?" his mentor asked softly, nothing compared to the increasing anger at May, and concern at Peter.
"She found out, Tony! And she was in shock and mad, I think"
The billionaire assumed that she found out he was Spiderman, but as Peter didn't specify he asked, and felt dumb for it.
"She found out you are Spiderman?"
"Yes" he sniffed.
"Ok, I'll talk to her, we'll talk to her. Wait there, I'm coming"
Few minutes later Peter saw and heard the Ironman suit, and felt relief. Ironman meant Tony.
"Now, explain so I can help you out there" Tony said, it sounded more emotionless than he meant to "Sorry"
And Peter explained everything, the fight, going out as Spiderman, his aunt reaction.
Tony put the kid in a kind of side hug before saying "Well, I promise I'll try to make everything alright again, ok? Now let's just fly there, what do you think?"
Peter nodded before Tony picked him up and took off flying to the new Parker residence.
When they got there Tony put the suit in an ally and in autopilot before going with Peter to the front door, trying to keep a low façade.
