"Hey, Tony!" Peter greeted when his mentor came back to the tower. He had been wanting to go out as Spiderman but didn't want to go out and then Tony coming back, not finding him and freaking out, for some reason Happy wasn't in the other floor, as he always was, so he could tell him, and Peter didn't want to bother the billionaire in what could've been a serious meeting or something.

"Hey, kid. What've you been up to? Sorry, it took me longer than I expected" and it was true, it took Tony longer as May had wanted to consulte this with Lucas, seeing that he was her lawyer. And then, when the guy finally came back he had been very reluctant to talk to him and very suspicious of his action.

"Nothing, really. How did it turned out for you?... you look..." he paused, thinking if it was alright to ask "You look particularly happy"

"It turned out well, I get what I wanted"

Peter smiled at him, happy himself that Tony was happy, and then asked.

"I think I'll go out as Spiderman, if that's okay. I mean, I talked to Karen already but I didn't go patrolling or anything" he explained. For some reason he just felt like Tony needed to know. Maybe because he still felt a little touched with all the May thing because of Spiderman, or maybe because it was Tony, and Peter felt the need to tell him.

"Yeah, of course" Tony waved him off playfully "Go! Save the world- or Queens- or whatever, little Superman"

Peter thanked quickly, giggling slightly, and got off to his room and to the window without wasting anymore time. He had been a little absent with his alter ego lately and wanted to make up to Queens for that.

Tony stared at his kids door for a moment and thought that this was- will be- actually his kid in a few days if his lawyers worked fast enough.

Peter had to accept, though. He reminded himself, he knew the kid had to accept him as something of he wanted to keep living with him, but he could tell him to be just his guardian as well.

Tony wandered around the tower for a bit, being so much with the kid seemed to affect his 'I like to be on my own' thing, don't knowing what to do now that the kid was away and there was nobody in the tower more than himself and a few workers. Finally he went to his lab.

However before he decided what to do on there (he could improve the Ironman suit, come up with new ideas for the tower, think of the new accords, and a lot of others things) his phone vibrated and, for a long time, he didn't ignore it, more so he was a little excited when he saw his best friend number on the screen, he hadn't talked to Rhodey in ages.

"Hi, Rhodes" he chirped, maybe a little too excited, but he was in a good mood.

"Don't 'Hi, Rhodes' me, Anthony!" yes, he knew he was in trouble when he heard his best friend tone, but then he heard all of his name and he was so screwed "What do you think you are doing?! You know this is important and hard and you haven't been of much help ignoring our calls, because, before you say something, I know you, and you have so been ignoring us"

Tony cringed, it has been a long time since Rhodey last reprimanded him and he's forgotten what it was like.

"Sorry, sorry, but I've had my own thing going around here" webbing around here.

He heard the others voices in the background, something about excuses and a bunch of colorful words. Probably from Clint or Sam. How Clint had managed to rise children, he had no idea. But then again, he was going to adopt a child.

"With that mouth you his your wife?" he said and then heard Rhodey echoing his words to Clint.

"Seriously, Tony. You, more than any of us, should know how hard this was, this is important"
