"Hey, kid?" asked Tony, a little confused "Mind to tell me what are you doing with a metal detector?"

Peter, who was engrossed in his search, looked a little taken aback by Tony, as he hadn't noticed the man in the room.

It has been a few days since the Avengers met Peter and he has grown on them already, but then again, the kid was an angel, nobody could resist him, Tony thought.

"Nothing, dad. Don't worry" he said, still moving the thing around, hearing it's irritant beeping, which didn't change "Playing hide and seek"

Peter has started to call Tony 'dad' more and more ever since the Avengers got there. They called Tony 'his dad' almost every time they referred to him in the kid's presence. So the name had become normal.

It didn't meant that Tony stopped feeling like he might melt every time he heard it or that Peter didn't said it with all his heart, saying just how much the man was to him.

"I'm not an expert in kid's plays, but even I am pretty sure that you don't need one of those for that game" he gestured to metal detector.

"Normally? No" Peter paused and looked at his dad "But I'm trying to find Barnes"

"Oh, that makes so much sense now. Good idea" Peter smiled at him and kept on looking for Bucky.

Finally, the thing beeped repeatedly, and this time it wasn't because of Cap's shield as the metal detector was in vibranium and it was the other thing made of it apart from Bucky's arm.

Peter looked incredulous at the place where it was supposed to be hiding Barnes. It was a small place under one of the TVs, the doors were closed. Peter wondered if he had found yet another thing made of vibranium as even he couldn't fit in there, he gave it a try, though, what could he lose?

As he carelessly opened the small door, already bracing himself for another disappointment in his search, a hand emerged from there, lifeless, and Peter let out a small yelp.

Before he had time to process what was happening he heard a small cry of victory. He turned and saw Bucky, who had already won the game, as it looked like.

The thing was, that Bucky didn't have his metal arm on, instead he had realized what Peter was doing and put the arm in the small compartment under the TV as a distraction.

"No! Not fair- Cheater!" yelled Peter as he ran towards the super soldier "That's not fair"

"What's not fair, Mister, is that you were dauntless enough to use a metal detector, I'm pretty sure that's cheating" Bucky smiled, patting Peter in the head as he passed by to get his arm.

"I'm divergent and I cannot be controlled!" shouted the kid over his shoulder, the little Spiderling ran, once more, towards Bucky, sticking his tongue out.

"What?" he asked confused.

"Nothing, something I read once"

Bucky just shook his head and didn't mind the kid, they have become accustomed to him and his references already.

"Hey, do you think you could take me out in your motorbike? You and Nat said you would and Natasha isn't here at the moment" explained Peter, buzzing with energy, his wide eyes looking at the soldier.

Bucky shrugged "As long as your dad lets you"

Peter ran to Tony as soon as he heard it. Today he was feeling particularly energetic, he wanted to do something, anything as long as it was fast, and require physical movement. The motorcycle and Bucky could give him one, maybe they could even stop at a park or something so Peter could move.
