Because I do the same thing.
We are more similar than we care to admit.
It's more than just talking because even strangers talk when they are lonely.
It's more than just liking the same things.
It's more than similar beliefs.
We make so many connections just to let them go because we end up giving more than we receive.
You don't like to be left behind so we prioritize. Put ourselves first.
Somebody needs to.
Letting go is our go-to choice after all, not settling it is the motto.
But we never let go with each other.
No matter how hard it got.
It's a need that we both know to be understood, to feel, and to know that we are not alone.
Neither I am nor are you.
For I am with you.
