Christians POV

We broke up after a year and a half. Nothing bad happened, we just got so busy. It wasn't mutual- neither of us wanted it, but it had to be done.

It had only been a week since we broke up, and I was already a mess. I missed her so much. Not only did we break up, but we weren't even talking anymore. That was due to our busy schedules and the tension.

I missed talking to her so much. She was everything to me. We cared for each other so much and we helped each other out all the time. It was amazing.

Roni and Thomas were still together, and they tried to help us. Thomas hung out with me a few times to get my mind off of it, but it never really worked. I couldn't stop thinking about her.

"Bro, if it makes you feel better, she's still obsessed with you, too," he told me. I shook my head. "We shouldn't have broke up," I said.

He stayed quiet. "I can't say it wasn't right," he said. "But I understand why," he added.

He stayed for another hour, before leaving my house. I ate a quick bowl of ramen and ate it, going on Twitter. The first tweet I saw- Vanessa.

VanessaMerrell: imy

Her replies filled with both jokes and questions. Since it was only a week, not much suspicion was raised. We still followed each other on everything and liked each other's posts, so it didn't look suspicious.

However, after she tweeted, a few people asked if we broke up. Some replied saying no, and some said yes, but suspicion was rising, and it was rising fast.

She tweeted that a couple hours earlier, so I knew it wasn't right now. Opening up a tweet, I wrote a message.

WeeklyChris: me too.

A month passed, and people got the hint. We still didn't announce anything, but both of us were still hurting.

At this point, people were defending us, telling others to let us take time and to mind their own business. Those were the fans that truly stuck around for a while- they knew to respect us.

It was almost midnight, but I couldn't stop thinking about her. I looked through her Instagram, and the pictures I still had of her on my phone. That's when I decided to man up. I needed her back in my life. Whether she agreed or not, I needed to say it, so I texted her.

Me
Come over

She took a few minutes to respond.

Vanessa
Now?

Vanessa
Are you okay?

Me
Please just come over

Vanessa
Promise me one thing first

Me
Yes

Vanessa
Can we troll the internet?

I smiled so wide reading that. Letting out a laugh, I rubbed my face with my hands, relief flooding through me.

Me
I swear

Vanessa
I'm omw

Within a couple minutes, I heard my doorbell ring. I practically sprinted towards the door. Once I opened it and saw her standing, I pulled her inside, and wrapped my arms around her tightly.

"I love you, Vanessa," I said. "I love you too," I heard her smile, as she wrapped her arms around me.

Splitting the hug, I pressed my lips against hers for the first time in a month.

All of this was the first time in a month. Talking to her over text- first time in a month.
Seeing her in person- first time in a month.

And yet, she still looked beautiful as ever.

"Oh my gosh," I sighed in relief, hugging her for a few seconds. "What?" She smiled. "I'm so happy, I was so bored without being with you," I laughed. "Me too," she smiled wider.

I took her hand and brought her to the living room, turning on the TV. Ordering a pizza, we watched TV and waited for it to arrive.

"What do we do about the fans?" She asked, running her fingers through my hair. "I don't know. We'll let them figure it out," I laughed.

"We should give them a break, we trolled them hard in the beginning," she laughed. "Okay, fine," I agreed, picking up my phone.

"Should we explain?" I asked. "We can. Not now, though," she said. "Okay," I nodded.

Opening Snapchat, I posted a picture of her gently playing with my hair, and captioned it with a heart. I did the same thing to my Instagram story, tagging her in it.

"There, that should be good," I said.

"Be careful, and text me when you're home," I told her, before softly kissing her. "I will," she said, loosening her grip on my hand.

Opening the driver seat door for her, she sat in as I shut it. Stepping back, she slowly pulled out of the driveway, before disappearing down the road.

Trolling the internet- the best success I've ever made.
