You Heal Me

Chapter 2

Miko was the first to pipe up. "Who's Cliffjumper?" No one answered her question.

Optimus stepped forward and asks a question no one really wanted to know the answer to. "How is that possible?"

Ratchet responds, unhappiness filling his voice, "It isn't. Another bug! The system is chock full of them."

Arcee started talking, hopefulness laced in her voice, "If there's any chance Cliff's alive..." She didn't finish her sentence. I then spoke up. "We need to find out... Please... I don't want to lose my brother again, if he is still alive."

The humans look at me in shock while the rest of the bots nod in understanding.

"Ratchet, AuraStorm. Prepare sickbay. We may need it", Optimus says. I nod and immediately get to work while Ratchet bridges them to their location.

After they went through the bridge, Ratchet came to help me after he finished explaining to the humans what happened with the ground bridge. They were shocked and amazed and Miko wanted to know if she go visit her parents in Tokyo. Soon we finished preparing sickbay, and just waited for them to need a bridge back.

Soon, Miko's curiosity was peaked. "So Cliffjumper's, whoever he is, is your brother?"

I blink before answering. "Yeah", I say softly, trying to not get lost in memories.

"What's he look like?", she asks. I look at Ratchet and he gets my message bringing up a picture of me and Cliffjumper when we were sparklings. "But, he's red and you're indigo. You look nothing alike."

I smile softly. "That's because I look more like our mother. Cliff looks more like our father."

"Who are your parents?", Raf asks. I freeze before speaking.

"My mother was a Decepticon. That's where I get my darker colors and my red eyes. Her name was Tempest. She was killed by some Autobots who didn't know who she was. My father is an Autobot, very much so. His name was Orion Pax. But before the war, before they had to pick sides, they met each other, and fell in love. Cliffjumper is older than me. But we were close and me and my father are very close as well. Orion Pax doesn't exist anymore but that's because his name was changed after the war was started", I explain, not wanting them to know that my father is the leader of the Autobots just yet.

"What was his name changed to?", Miko asks. I didn't want to answer and was thankfully saved by Optimus calling for a ground bridge. The humans were distracted by the bots coming in with a blue explosion following them.

Ratchet started speaking. "Cutting it a bit close." His voice went solemn. "How bout Cliffjumper?"

Before the bots could answer, Miko jumped in with a bunch of questions. "What was that explosion? Was there a fight? Can I come with next time?"

Arcee got angry and growled at Miko before Jack jumped in with some excuse about sock drawers. I have no clue what he meant by that but Miko was unimpressed.

Optimus then asks Arcee what she saw and her response shattered my spark a second time in a day. I lose my brother, get my hopes up that he could be alive and now...

"Not Cliff. At least, not anymore. He was mutated, butchered, like one of those Con experiments during the war", her voice kept getting higher and more distressed before she collapsed onto one of the nearby crates.

Bumblebee buzzed something at her and she snapped at him. "No! I'm fine. Just dizzy." The humans had a sudden realization that we are not just robots. We have feelings, and emotions, and we can die. Ratchet scans Arcee and finds some purple residue on the back of her servo.
