"Moonlight drowns out all but the brightest stars"

I wake up when I hear talking. I am still on Hasufel, resting against Aragorn's muscular chest. 'Edoras and the Golden Hall of Meduseld. There dwells Théoden, King of Rohan' Mithrandir states and moves Shadowfax forward. Hasufel gallops behind Shadowfax, keeping the same pace. Suddenly I feel Aragorn move his hand across my cheek. I close my eyes, afraid I scare him off. 'I know your awake Eleniel. You have been asleep for a long time' He whispers. Ashamed I open my eyes. 'I guess I needed it' I shrug. I hear him laugh. It makes me feel weird inside my stomach. When I am around Him, I feel lighter and happier and if he is in danger, I am afraid...

I do not know this feeling...

My thought are interrupted by Mithrandir, who says something. '-whose mind is overthrown. Saruman's hold over King Théoden is now very strong' We ride over a hill and see the city of Edoras, Mithrandir stops Shadowfax. 'Be careful what you say. Do not look for welcome here' He explains. Than he starts off again, we follow him. When we ride through the gate, a flag flutters to the ground. We ride through Edoras, people come out of their houses and watch us in silent. I look to the kings house, Meduseld, were a lady in white stands upon the porch, watching us. 'You'd find more cheer in a graveyard' Gimli says sarcastic. I chuckle a bit at his words and look back to the hall, but the women is gone. We arrive at a stable, Aragorn jumps of Hasufel and helps me to the ground and Legolas helps Gimli and Mithrandir. Young boys run towards us, taking care of our horses. Aragorn smiles at me, taking my hand and squeeze it. I squeeze back, nervous for what is to come. We follow Mithrandir towards the Golden hall and the doors open. A important looking soldier walks out of the hall with a small number of other men. Mithrandir pretends to lean heavily on his staff, like he is an old me. Mithrandir smiles at the soldier. 'I cannot allow you before Théoden King so armed, Gandalf Greyhame. By order of Gríma Wormtongue' The soldier states.
Wormtongue? What is that for a ridiculous name..

Mithrandir turns around and nods at us. I sigh and surrender with the others my weapons. My bow and quiver, filled with arrows and my sword. The important looking soldier signals to Mithrandir. 'Your staff' Mithrandir glances at his staff and scoffs innocently. 'You would not part an old man from his walking stick' He looks innocently at the soldier. The man nods and rolls his eyes, he then gestures to us to follow him. Legolas rushes to Mithrandir and supports him. We follow the man into the Hall. I feel a hand on my arm, guiding me.

Aragorn.

The man bows before the King, he steps aside and allows us before the king. A sickly looking man leans over and whispers something to the king. We continue walking towards the king and I hear the doors close behind us. Aragorn's grip on my arm tightens. I look around me, several men follow us closely as we walk closer and closer towards the king. Gimli walks in the middle, looking also around, his hands folded as fist. Legolas releases Mithrandir's arm and slows his pace. 'The courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessened of late, Théoden King' Mithrandir says loudly. Again the sickly man whispers something to Théoden king. 'Why should I welcome you, Gandalf Stormcrow?' The king says with labored breath. The king looks at the sickly looking man for affirmation and he nods. 'A just question, my liege' The sickly looking man says and stands up. He walks to meet us in front of the king. 'Late is the hour in which this conjurer chooses to appear. Láthspell I name him. Ill news is an ill guest' He states. 'Be silent' Mithrandir hisses angry. The man freezes in his tracks. We stand still before the king and I feel still the Rangers hand on my arm, it gives me a save feeling. 'Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth. I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm' Mithrandir continues. He raises his staff to the man who backs away. 'His staff!' The man yells in fear. 'I told you to take the wizard's staff!' The men who were following us attack us, trying to reach Mithrandir. Aragorn sqeezes my arm and turns around to hit a man full in his face with his fist. Legolas and Gimli are fighting as well, keeping the man away from Mithrandir. I feel a pain rush to my injured shoulder. I hiss in pain and anger and turn around, hitting the man in his balls. The man crumbles to the floor in pain and I smile. I try to fight the men off. 'Théoden, son of Thengel' I hear Mithrandir say and walks closer to the king. 'too long have you sat in the shadows' I hit the last man in the stomach and kick him on the head, he falls down, unconscious. The sickly man tries to crawl away unnoticed, but luckily Gimli catches him and pins him to the floor under his foot. 'I would stay still if I were you' The dwarf growls. Mithrandir continues to walk towards Théoden. 'Hearken to me! I release you from the spell' Mithrandir holds out his hand but suddenly the king start to laugh, menacingly. 'You have no power here, Gandalf the Grey' The kings says laughing. I feel shivers run down my spine. This voice, it sounds unnatural. Mithrandir is clearly angered and he throws his grey cloak back, spreading his hands. A blinding white light radiates of him. The king is thrown back against his seat. 'I will draw you, Saruman, as poison is drawn from a wound' Mithrandir yells. He thrust his staff towards Théoden and knocks the king back in his throne, Mithrandir moves closer. Suddenly a women, with long golden hair rushes in. She tries to run towards the king, but Aragorn steps forward and catches her arm. I feel suddenly jealousy rise inside my chest. 'Wait' Aragorn says to her. The king sits up, still grinning at Mithrandir. 'If I go, Théoden dies' The voice of Saruman says. Again Mithrandir thrust is staff towards Théoden's body and throws him back in his throne. 'You did not kill me, you will not kill him' The king leans forward with difficulty. 'Rohan is mine' He spits and struggles against Mithrandir's power. 'Be gone!' Mithrandir yells. Théoden's body lunges for Mithrandir but he is thrown back in his chair again. Mithrandir lets out a sign of relief and Théoden king moans and falls forward from his throne. The blond women frees herself from Aragorn grip and catches the king before he can hit the floor. Before my eyes, the king changes, from an old, sick man to a more youthful king. The maiden smiles, overjoyed and the king looks in confusion around. He finds the women face, who cries in silent. I move closer to Aragorn and put my hand on his elbow, seeking comfort. He looks at me and smiles. 'I know your face' The king whispers, smiling. 'Éowyn. Éowyn' The king looks up and his eyes widen in surprise when he sees Mithrandir. 'Gandalf?'
