ice cream kisses.

third person's point of view

hand in hand, the two teenagers walked into the ice cream shop, a blonde and a brunette. it was the first day of summer, and classmates were already tanning at the beach, and wearing the clothings that show skin the most because apparently it was too hot to cover up a little more.

it wasn't the girl's idea of summer being almost naked walking down san fransisco's streets, she wore the usual jean shorts and a pretty top, but the rest of the girls? it was like they always wore two pieces bathsuits to buy at walmart.

as soon as they got their table, the boy started a conversation. "i'll miss you so much, sweetheart. we have to enjoy this week the most we can," he sighed. his family planned a trip to australia, where winter was coming. they would tour sydney and couple more cities until summer is over.

"but why so far and so long? and during summer?! we were meant to spend the break at the beach together, i don't have an idea of how i will go through the summer," the brown eyed whined. he was the definition of the perfect boyfriend, sweet, caring, good student, plays sport, nice person, and he's also her best friend. to resume it all, he goes for dinner on wednesdays and fridays to her mother's house because her mom and sister adore him.

"we will facetime no matter the timezones, and i-"

"may i take your order?" a tall boy interrupted the girl's boyfriend. but he wasn't just a boy taking orders, he was the son of her mother's best friend, and her boyfriend annoyed him, he thought he was too good to be real, so he never really accepted him.

"mackenzie?" her boyfriend let her take her order first.

"i want a stra-"

"strawberry milkshake and a muffin, i know," his green eyes looked into hers, but instantly turned to him. "i meant yours."

"a banana split with chocolate chip ice cream," he knew the girl's friend didn't like him, and it kind of scared him. the green eyed was always so rude, and glared at him constantly, and there's one more thing, he is older.

"i'll make your orders be here as soon as possible," he flashed them a smile, well- not them, her.

"don't worry about him, carson. he doesn't have a word about who i date, and nobody will let him lay a finger on you," she softly spoke. just like she couldn't say a thing about who he dated, he can't say anything either.

"he is like your brother! i've tried my best to show him how much you mean to me and i've done my best to deserve you but i just can't get him to let me date you," and he was most likely right. their mothers are highschool best friends, living near the seashore right next to each other, they grew up together.

"we already are dating," she intertwined their fingers. "and yes he is like family to me, but we do not have the same blood and he doesn't get to speak about us."

as she finished her strawberry milkshake, the boy told her that it was time to leave. both lean in for a liplock, and as soon as their lips touch, someone clears their throat. mackenzie, knowing who it is, does not pull away and continue with the kiss just to listen to the same sound once more, but still, she doesn't end it.

suddenly, he pulls away. "ow!" he complains, grabbing his foot.

"it's time to pay, mouthsuckers," the seventeen year old evilly smirks. the hand of the blonde runs down to his pocket taking out a few dollars. "this will make. bye."

"we really should get going," carson says as they stand up, but mackenzie didn't really follow him.

"i- um, i think you really should get going, um- his shift will end in like less than ten minutes so he will take me home."

"uh- su-sure, i'll see you tomorrow?" her boyfriend asked. she simply answered with a nod and watched him leave the building, right after, she walked with the green eyed, who was just sitting, seeing how mackenzie approached him.

"the heck were you doing today?" kenzie crossed her arms. "you are so immature, you ruined our date, john. you ruined it like you always ruin everything."

"would you shut up and wait to argue in the car? you're just making a scene, sit down," the guy, now with a name, made the fifteen year old sit down after taking off his cap. his dirty blonde hair looked messy, but great at the same time, she placed it on her head and waited the shift to end.

"don't even dare to start driving," mackenzie spoke, causing john to groan. "what the fuck were you doing? it's our last week together before the break ends and you plan ruining it, seriously?!"

"i don't like him, mackenzie," he rolled his eyes.

"you shouldn't, i should, and guess what? i already do," she was all grumpy, but that cap of the ice cream shop wasn't really helping her being scary.

"it's not normal, kenzie! it isn't normal how he seems so perfect, that boyfriend of yours doesn't have a single but! what kind of alien is that?!" he exclaims. there should be something wrong about him, and he wanted to discover it.

"you should really be happy i got the perfect boyfriend instead of being against us and shooing him again all the damn time," the brown eyed said, their bodies moved to face each other more. "what's your problem with him?"

as a result of her question, he pushed his body against hers, to her seat, linking their lips in a rough kiss. her mind was screaming to push him again, to stop, to move, but her body was a lot stronger than that.

her arms swung over to his neck, loosening them. noticing she didn't make him stop, he removed the cap off her head throwing it under the carseat, having more space. he ran his hand up her hair, running his fingers through it and keeping her head with a small distance from the window, knowing it'd eventually hurt.

she couldn't follow his lead, causing a soft moan to exit her mouth. slow, sweet kisses were her typical ones, she didn't have an idea of what these kind of kisses are like. mackenzie pushed her body against his, just enough to have an appropriate position and keep up with it. his hand went down to her lowerback as soon as hers ran up his hair, pulling gently of the short strands of hair, making him groan quietly.

at the moment his lips found her neck, the thoughts hit her. they were polar opposites, her boyfriend was the perfect sweet prince of fairytale that every girl dreams of, and he was the wild guy that women crave to leave stress behind. he was who she thought of as the brother she never had, the annoying and protective brother to argue over what movie to watch and the one to blame things you did on. she was unloyal, disrespecting the boyfriend she definitely shouldn't lose, a boyfriend that she didn't have such age difference with.

"john," she muttered, but it sounded more as a gasp or a moan than a stop, only getting another mark that would darken with the time. "john," another breathlessly word escaped her lips.

"mhm?" he questioned, moving his hand under her top, making her whole body shiver.

"don't ever stop."
