mackenzie had sat down waiting for the boy with emerald eyes to show up. he had asked her on a date and he was already ten minutes late. what's up with that?

to spare some time, mackenzie was messaging her best friends nadia and lexi to ask them if they had any advice. they told her that maybe he was running a bit late.

she decided to call him and ask where he was. as he answers his call, she hung up immediately after hearing what she heard and putting her face in her hands.

johnny orlando had stood her up. no wonder a popular boy who has everything would ever date a girl like her. she thought they had a connection. maybe it was just her fantasy.

she thanked the lady who was serving her and walking out to her car to blast music back to her house. her favorite song "don't come back around" by l2m was on and what was funny is that the lyrics were similar to her situation.

mackenzie has heard about this karaoke thing that was suppose to be happening over at rosie's diner so she decided to check it out.

as she walked into the diner the first thing she saw was johnny with him arm around another girl's waist. of course that was the noise she had heard. that he was at another diner cause she heard the clanking of plates and dishes.

johnny's eyes met mackenzie's as he looked sad. mackenzie rolled her eyes before finding a seat and waiting for the girl singing to finish what she was singing.

as the girl finished singing claps were heard from the audience. she bowed down before taking her seat and rosie (owner of the diner) came back on stage.

she cleared her throat before speaking. "would anyone else like to sing a song for us?" she asked the audience as mackenzie's hand shot straight up.

rosie nodded for mackenzie to come up. a few claps were heard from the audience but not that many. mackenzie told the dj what song she wanted and of course it was her favorite,

as mackenzie finished singing the audience was quiet at first before bursting into the biggest round of applause the place has ever heard. mackenzie's eyes met johnny's eyes as his eyes had pureness and another emotion as well.

mackenzie thanked the crowd as she walked back down. before she could sit down tho johnny stopped her. "that was um.. great," he says nervously, rubbing his neck.

she rolled her eyes. why was this pathetic kid still doing here. "thanks," she replies back dryly as she went back on her phone.

"come on. i'm sorry for standing you up, but you did really good and i want to take you out on another date," he says to her, trying to make it seem as if he was a good guy.

she just laughed at what he was saying as she looked up from his phone. she giggled at what she was about to do, but was excited at the same time.

she took two steps closer to johnny and pressed her lips to his. instantly he kisses back, trying to make it more intense but mackenzie pulled away fast and grabbed the first milkshake she saw.

and you probably can guess what she did never. she poured the milkshake on johnny's head and he gasps loudly. "never. stand me up," mackenzie says strongly before walking out of the diner and to her car.

johnny orlando stood there with this mouth wide open as if he was about to catch flies. she had stood up a perfect girl and had just gotten a milkshake poured on his head.

but the lyrics stayed in his head as a powerful meaning because he knew the song was for him..
