"snowball fights"

third person point of view

winter was always kenzie's favorite season. snowfalls, christmas, caroling, you name it. she loves it all. this winter holiday was different, this year she had someone special to celebrate it with.

kenzie's canadian boyfriend was in town for the holidays. he was definitely a close family friend that kenzie's mom and sister loved. he was the perfect gentleman.

(and a combination of a cute and gentleman like guy is hard to find.)

"kenzieeee! are you almost done with the coco? come cuddle with me." a very moody john called from the warm and cozy living room. the fireplace was burning, sending out a warm winter cinnamon smell. the snowfall was heaving outside, frosting the windows.

johnny had set up a fort with pillows and soft blankets, ready to watch a movie on this cold december night.

kenzie took the two warm cups of hot chocolate (johnny's filled with marshmallows, of course) and carefully bring them to the living room, balancing it carefully and making not to stain the white carpet.

johnny smiled at his beautiful girlfriend as she handed him his cup. "careful, it's hot." she warned. "then... why don't you give me that warning every time you walk in the room?" he smirked.

kenzie playfully swatted him as pink painted and thawed her cold cheeks. "what movie did you pick out?" she asked cuddling into the side of her boyfriend, playing little spoon. "how the grinch stole christmas." he smirked lightly.

kenzie giggled and shook her head, "of course you did."

"what? it's like, the best christmas movie ever!" johnny said defending himself.

kenzie dimmed the lights, and on cue the movie started.

kenzie and johnny wouldn't have it any other way right now, enjoying the warm holiday season with each other. they are so in love.

...

panting and hiding behind a tree, kenzie peaked from the side of it to make sure no one was there.

"come out kenz, you can't hid forever!" she heard johnny nearby.

right now kenzie, johnny, lauren and maddie were in an epic snowball fight. lauren was on kenzie's team and they were sure they were unstoppable.

but johnny is the king of snowball fights and maddie the queen. kenzie and lauren had no chance against them.

okay kenz, make a run for it. kenzie thought to herself.

kenzie bent down and grabbed a pile of snow, molding it in her hands into a soft and freezing snowball.

she took one step forward to be met with maddie, two snowballs in each hand.

"i caught you now sis. give up!" maddie laughed.

"did you really?" kenzie smirked, ready to launch the snowball.

startling kenzie, a pair of strong arms snaked around her waist. "maybe she didn't, but i did darling." a husky voice whispered.

"johnny you fucking scared me!" kenzie shrieked. "sorry love." he lightly chuckled, kissing her covered shoulder.

"you better be orlando." she said trying to slip out of his embrace.

then, a cold snowball hit the back of johnny. making him arch and let kenzie go, making it the perfect opportunity for her to throw the snowball into maddie's face.

"that's what you get for capturing my best friend!" lauren's voice echoed from behind johnny.

and then it started again, a huge snowball fight to start the holiday season.

it was just all perfect.
