the couple had just exited the rollercoaster, adrenaline still ran through their veins, feeling their bodies warm. their hearts' beating felt like hammers against their chests. hand in hand, both decided it was time to buy a drink.

it was four p.m. and they had already been most of the day there, enjoying six flags alone. they picked a bench and sat down, the brunette chose strawberry soda, but the blonde asked for sprite. "thank you," mackenzie pecked his cheek.

this was their first anniversary, and he offered a whole day at six flags, paying all as a present. "everything for you," he softly smiled. somehow, she still made him feel butterflies and shy, like if they weren't in a relationship, yet.

"i'm so tired," she groaned resting her head on his shoulder. mackenzie couldn't believe that a year has passed since they started dating, they counted each date, exactly eighty-three.

"do you want to go home?" john curiously asked, admiring how she looked. she was the most perfect woman in his eyes, and felt so happy that both felt the same about each other.

"are you kidding me? this is the best anniversary i will ever have! who needs a romantic cliché date at a restaurant? i fucking love this!"

the boy sweetly smiled at her. "hey, babe. i will go see that thing over there, i'll be right back, is it okay?" kenzie asks pointing at a game she'd probably be begging him to go with her later.

he nodded. "sure, just be very careful," the brunette instantly nodded and pecked his lips before standing up and walking away, with his eyes glued to her.

his phone dinged, he takes it out  placing his soda on the bench. a message.

"why are you smiling?" a delicate voice asks. he raises his eyes to find his girlfriend sipping her strawberry flavored soda.
