Chapter 20

Jakie POV

I wake up to the sweet sound of birds chirping. Newt lays next to me his breathing still even and deep in his sleep. I try not to wake him as I try to slip out of his tight grasp to go to the bathroom, but it's no use. I can't move. I sigh as I come to the conclusion that I have to wake him up. I shake his shoulder and his grip loosens, I take my chance and dash to the bathroom. Leaving a very confused, ruffled up, morning Newt. However, I almost trip and fall due to the pain in between my legs.

"Jakie? Are you okay? Why did you-" He starts.

"I have to pee!" I giggle through the closed bathroom door. I can hear him chuckle in response as he realizes why I woke him up. I walk out of the bathroom with my thighs still sore and lay back down on the soft sheets using Newt's bare chest as my pillow.

"Love what's wrong?" He questions when I wince.

"My thighs hurt," I state while blushing as he smirks at me.

"That good, huh?" He smirks even more if that's possible.

"Neeeewt!" I shout while laughing and shove his shoulder. He grabs my waist and kisses my neck. I cross my arms and groan trying to not let his charm have any effect on me.

"Trying to resist me eh?" He says a chill traveling down my spine. I shiver again as he continues to kiss me. I can't take it anymore. I turn around grabbing his face with my hands and smashing our lips together. They move in sync, fitting together like pieces of a puzzle.

"I love you," I mutter against his lips.

"I knew you couldn't refuse me." He grins mischievously breaking the kiss. I scoff at him, but give in and nod knowingly.

"Come on let's have some breakfast!" He orders pulling me downstairs as he suddenly has a huge appetite. Once we arrive in the kitchen he looks in the fridge to find something to eat.

"You don't normally eat in the morning. Why is today any different?" I asked leaning on the doorpost casually with his arms crossed over my chest. He stares at me for a second taking in the sexy sight of his gorgeous girlfriend.

"I dunno, I got hungry," He states with a small smile and shrug. He walks back to the table with a box of Cheerios, a bowl, and a carton of milk.

Soon Emily and Dean come downstairs. They both give Newt a confused glance and look at me for some explanation. I shrug and tell them that I don't know myself.

Emily POV

Dean and I come downstairs to see the surprising sight of Newt eating breakfast while Jakie watches in confusion.

"What's with him today?" I ask out of the side of my mouth and Jakie shrugs.

"So... Newt, why are you eating breakfast? You never have before." Dean asks sitting down in a chair with me on his lap.

"I honestly don't know... Why does everyone keep asking me?! I got bloody hungry!" He says his voice raising towards the end of his rant.

"Maybe it's because of what happened? His body now craves what he didn't need before." Jakie suggests not meaning for Newt to really hear, however that didn't work.

"Yeah. Just blame it on the pills or the shit I went through!" Newt retaliates. Suddenly, he storms up the stairs probably needing to remove himself from the situation before things get out of hand.

Jakie POV

I follow him up the stairs, keeping a small distance between us. We sit on our bed and I start rubbing his back in soothing circles while he cries into my shoulder.
