Chapter 2

Jakie POV

I have trouble focusing on my breathing and begin to feel light-headed as tears stream from my eyes.

Flashback

I am walking outside enjoying the nice, sunny weather as my day suddenly turns upside down when I see Flash stride up to me.

"Wow! You're so dumb you had to drop out of school! So how's life being a homeless orphan?" He mocks.

The tears start to rise in my eyes as he teases me. "So you're just gonna cry like a big baby?" He smirks as I rush back to the safe apartment however not before hearing, "Yeah Jakie run! Run back to your precious boyfriend, Penis Parker!" Flash laughs.

The tears start rolling down my face and don't plan on stopping.

Flashback End

Here I am, sitting on my bed sobbing uncontrollably. I'm angry and feel the anger start to take over. I hear the front door open and close signaling Peter is home from school. I rush into his room hoping he will help me calm down and keep me from losing myself.

"Jakie are you okay?" He starts, I fall to the ground on my knees clutching my claw in the palm of my hand drawing blood. I fall onto my back my as the monster in me takes over, however not completely. I lunge at Peter and he webs me to the wall... again.

"Peter..." I whisper.

"I'm sorry..." He says before he knocks me out.

One Hour Later

I wake up to see legs dangling over the side of the bed above me, as I am on the bottom bunk. Peter senses I am awake and rushes to my side.

"Hey, you calm now? Not gonna attack me again are ya?" He jokes, but I scoff at him not finding it funny.

"I can't believe you! How could you do this to me?! I thought you were going to help me! You're treating me differently than before and I don't like it! You know what I might take you up on that 'Get out' offer! I hope you have a nice life, Peter..." I say rushing out of his room to pack up my things, as I didn't have much.

May comes into my room to see why I am packing, "Where are you going?"

"I'm leaving... I don't want to be a burden anymore... I can't. I'm sorry." I reply grabbing my things about to head out the door.

"Jakie! Please... Stay! Don't leave... we can work this out! Where will you go anyway?" Peter pleads.

"I don't deserve to live here... Emily had always been there for me unlike you!" I start.

"Goodbye, Peter." I walk out the door without another word. There is no turning back now.

Emily POV

"Dean! Dean!" I scream and shake my boyfriend awake.

"What?" He asks groggily. "Are you okay?! Is the baby okay?!"

"Yes. We're both fine." I assure him.

"Then why'd you wake me in the middle of the night?!" Dean asks angrily.

"Dean you had another nightmare," I say anxiously.

"Oh, sorry to wake you just worried about being dragged downstairs," Dean explains. I give him a reassuring smile before I sprint to the bathroom and puke my guts out.

"Ugh morning sickness," I start once I clean up and walk out of the bathroom, "by the way, It's not the middle of the night. It's almost noon." I rush out of the room having a sudden urge for breakfast.
