Flying

I groaned softly as I felt someone move me to a comfortable thing... It felt like cotton on my bones, maybe the couch in the living room?

I lifted myself up, rubbing my eyes. I looked around, smelling eggs and bacon. He must be making breakfast...

"Afternoon." The Demon chuckled out, plating the food.

"Afternoon?" I whispered, confused.

"Yeah, guess the bed was making you turn into a sloth." He chuckled setting the food down.

I nodded, moving into the dinning room, sitting across from him.

After we ate, Mr. Jam wanted to leave. I was okay with that, but I wanted to make sure the room was neaten up. I somehow was able to convince him with my puppy dog eyes that no Angel could say no to. Guess it can work on a Demon too.

"Bye, Ms. Vo!" I called to the receptionist, she giving me a kind smile and nod.

Me and Mr. Jam walked for a while, going back to the forest. He let me walk along the real fallen trees and hop on the rocks, even going through some piles of fallen leaves!

He was very kind... Leading me through the forest so we could avoid the other Demons. Soon, we had entered a peaceful clearing where I gave a happy spin around!

"Hehe... Wanna fly?" The Demon asked me, his wings unfolding from his back already.

I gasped as I saw them. They were broad, twice the size of his body! A deep blood red with highlights of a dark magenta on the bones. It was like a hybrid between dragon and bat wings... They looked so beautiful...

"Freshy?" Jam rose an eyebrow at me, making me blush.

I looked down, becoming shy... I hadn't shown anyone my wings before... They all were Angels if they did see my wings anyway, and my wings are about average... They were nothing like his gorgeous ones.

Quickly, I let my wings unfold. He froze... He just froze while I hid behind them, blushing...

My wings were the perfect size for my small body and were sleek, which was good for fast flying and doing swift maneuvers in the sky. My feathers were like splashes of a faded rainbow as the feathers were wild, spread everywhere in a chaotic manner. It happens every time I let them fold in and out.

"M-Mr. Jam..." I whimpered softly when I noticed that he took a step towards me.

He cleared his throat and back away. Was it me, or were his cheeks turning a tint of magenta?

"Sorry... I never saw an Angel with your type of wings before..." He murmured, looking away.

"M-My wings aren't that r-rare... They're just not v-very common..." I stated, slowly letting them fall behind me.

"I highly doubt that the other Angels have your exact wings. The style, the color, the way they move when you fly?" He questioned, smirking when he saw that he was right.

"Oh you hush, Mr. Know-It-All." I joked, using my wings to get a good few yards from him.

He snickered as he used his wings to be right in front of me.

I squeaked, jumping back some.

"Two can play that game." He smirked darkly as his hands gently touched my wings.

I gasped softly, my knees nearly buckling as he instantly found my wings' sweet spot.. The weakest part of an Angels' wing, but also the most pleasurable part.

Jam caught me before I fell, my wings dead limp as they tried to recover from the mass of pleasure they felt. I panted softly as he chuckled to himself, his hands rushing their fingers through my wings, missing the weak spot in them... It sort of felt like he was grooming my wings...

After I recovered, I pulled away, my face the color of the sky. I just basically told him where my weakness was! He could use that against me...

He just laughed at it, petting my head calmly. I didn't like that...

"D-Don't d-do t-that a-a-again... P-Please..." I whimpered softly, backing away from him slowly. I kept my wings pressed tightly to my back, not wanting to leave them vulnerable like I had done before. I didn't want a repeat of so long ago...

Jam frowned, noticing how I was acting. Still he agreed.

"Still want to fly?" The thought of flying make my wings flutter softly. The thought of flying had always made me feel better...

"Y-Yea..." I whispered, looking to the ground.

He patted my head nicely, smiling down at me.

"Hey... It's going to be alright..." He whispered, pulling back.

I smiled up at him, nodding. I took a few more steps back, letting my wings stretch, the bones popping back into place.

"I hope you can keep you." I joked, jumping high into the air, avoiding the branches easily.

Once I was in the air I started doing tricks that only one without wings could do! I was an expert when it came to flying and doing tricks!

I heard Jam laugh, his eyes staring at me as I danced on the air.

I smiled to him, twirling slowly as he flew up to me.

"Wanna dance?" I held out my hand, waiting for him to reject it. Not many Demons would like to air dance... Or know how to.

He surprised me as he smiled and nodded. He pulled me close to him, gently spinning us a bit. I giggled, letting us dance on the air, spinning and twirling. The wind drifting in the soft sounds of a distant piano... It was amazing...

We continued to dance, our bodies moving with the sound, our minds falling far away from us... It was like nothing was there, but us... Nothing but us, the sky, and the music...

Slowly we glided back down, pulling away from each other. The feeling of safety, warmth and something unknown to me left the moment he no longer held me. With a soft sigh from me, I folded my wings once more.

"Want to go clothes shopping?" The inky skeleton asked, taking my hand once more.

"I don't see why not!" I chirped, that unknown feeling coming back again. I let it settle inside me, how can I fight against something that I didn't know? Besides... It felt nice...
