I gently picked up my bag, seeing as I was finally alone. Jam had been around me, caring for me and spending time with me in so many special way. I loved it. I loved every moment of it. However, he had to leave today for something.

He just said that it was a Demon meeting, but he didn't look happy about. No, he looked angry and annoyed. I didn't like seeing him like that, not because how violent he could get when like that, but because he didn't get like that often. Not unless the topic was about me... That meant the meeting was more than likely about me.

Shaking my head, I focused on what I wanted. I was bored now, I had already watched most of the Human movies and played so many board games. It all was just a dull bore. I needed something more.

Taking a deep breath, I pulled out a grey tome. There were odd symbols on the front, but I couldn't read them if they were words of some sort.

Yet, inside the book were words and symbols I could understand and read. However, I noticed that if I stared at one word or sentence for too long, the words would fade into those strange symbols. It was an odd thing really.

Flipping to the middle, I started to read the book. This certain page was talking about plants, plants I had never seen or heard of. The plants that were softly scribbled into the margins or sometimes just drawn in the middle of the writing, were so beautiful and fascinating to look at.

I gently felt the page with some seemingly glowing flowers. These flowers were called the Nyx Lav, or something like that. They were some helpful flowers to bring luck and love, and looked to be such loving flowers too.

Biting my bottom lip, I slowly reached my hand out, forming a grey ball in my hands. I looked deeply into the picture, then to the words that described the plant and its properties. Then I released the magic.

Swiftly, a sweet green glow formed around the room. The glow twisted and curved into the walls and floor, gently seeping into the crevices of the walls and floors. Then the glow melted into those loving flowers, their petals faintly shining a multitude of different colors.

I just stared at them. They looked so beautiful. So peaceful.

"How did you do that?" A deep voice called out.

A startled yelp left my lips, my head snapping to the voice.

There, standing at the door, was Jam again. Yet, he looked shocked, his body tense. Like something was wrong.

"Mr. Jam?" I asked softly, shakily reaching out to him.

His head snapped to me, his hidden eyes completely focused on me. It was a hard, intense focus that made me flinch away.

"W-What d-did I d-do wrong?" I whimpered some, pulling away from him.

At my pitiful words, his hard focus softened as he reached out to me, cupping my face. His thumb gently caressed the bone underneath my eye.

"I'm sorry, you did nothing wrong. I just need to know how you made these flowers." He asked sweetly, his voice more loving.

I relaxed into his hand, purring some. Shyly, I showed him the book, pointing to the flowers.

"The book calls them Nyx Lav. Aren't they beautiful?" I hummed some, waiting for him to comment.

Quietly, he nodded, completely absorbed into the pages. He then looked to me.

"What is this book?" He seemed very confused.

I smiled some. I've been wanting to tell someone about these books.

"It was in the Forbidden section of the Angelic Library." I chirped. "There's actually four books!" I couldn't help the beaming smile on my face, my hands quickly pulling out the last three.

Two of them were pure of their own color, one being black and the other white. The fourth book was a soft merage of grey, yellow, blue, and red. The forth book seemed to be the thicker one as well. I hadn't read it yet it, so I didn't know what it was about.

Jam looked confused, looking at the covers of the books.

"I can't read this." He murmured.

I frowned and hummed some.

"Its not an old Demon dialect?" He shook his head, now looking at me.

I looked down to the book in my hand, staring at the cover. I really thought it was an old Demon dialect. I looked back up, wanting Jam to say something about it but he didn't.

Making another humming sound, I looked around the room.

"Maybe it's the first language?" I asked myself.

"First language?" My Demon love asked.

I nodded to him, grabbing the dark book. "This is the first book." I quickly flipped it to the third page and started to read what it said allowed. "'A divide between the Winged Ones is showing. The Two Deities have been fighting more and more, causing their children and followers to do the same. We see how the Fiery Ones have began to make something new, their words hissing and elongating. The Light Ones do not accept this change in words and speech. It seems a war is to come, war that will destroy what we know and imprison the Angel.'"

I looked up to him, his expression showing how confused he was. I just shrugged, I didn't really understand it either. Quickly, Mr. Jam shook his head, sitting next to me.

"All I know is that these books are old, and that they have so many things about both of us" I chirped, quickly flipping to another page, a page about the Demon King. "It says here that the Ruler and Heir to the Demon Throne both possess an unique ability." I pointed to the paragraph. Next to it was some scribbled words that I couldn't understand.

"Angels?" He asked, his head moving some to look at me.

I grinned up at him as I quickly grabbed the white book. Half way through it, I pointed to a long paragraph.

"This one says that the Heir and Ruler to Angels are able to manipulate elements around them." I felt my smile waver some, but I kept it straight, just for him.

Softly, an arm was wrapped around my waist, a warm head laying on my shoulder.

"These books have knowledge that we don't even know?" His breath tickled my neck, a giggle leaving my lips.

"Mhm! Do you want to read them with me?" I tilted my head some so I could look at him.

He also tilted his head, smiling at me. It was a gentle smile. A smile that made me melt and giggle. This was going to be fun!
