he unconsciously read aloud, which earned him six audience members behind his screen. he clicked on the tag from the comments section if their group instagram, and was surprised with manips and short clips of him and the girl he did not even know personally.

he tapped one of the photos of "them" being cozy beside each other in what looks like a coffee shop date.

nice edit, though. he tapped the screen to see if there were other photo tags, but accidentally liked it by double tapping. he immediately unliked it; he was using the group instagram account.

finding pleasure in his panicked state, the other boys teasingly nudged him. it was then he only knew they were behind him. he panicked again and hid his phone, but namjoon was quick to stop him.

"look who's doing his research..."
"wow, daebak!"
"they look good together, though!"
"taennie? taennie taennie taennie?"

"ya!"
he reached out to them to get his phone back after they huddled up to see the picture, but the guys were persistent.

"but heads up, yg has a dating ban."
namjoon winked at him and shrugged his shoulders.

i'm not interested in dating anyone right now, stop it. but why couldn't he say that out loud?

namjoon then returned his phone and turned his back on him with their members. "scooch, people. the man has to reflect."

he looked back at his screen to come back to the 'research,' but the page was different.

this book is unedited, especially in its first parts before the narrations. is close to real life but not totally accurate especially on the timeline because this is still fiction. the book's timeline starts on 2018 since they first met, until 2019 as of the latest writing. there would definitely inaccurate stats or details on the book compared to the now because of the different timeline.
