The early morning drive from his hometown back to Seoul on his fresh-from-the-garage Palisade SUV fueled his senses. He was damn wide awake while the rest of Korea was still deep in slumber. His second destination with his new car was a place he had been longing for.

His dad did not want to let him drive in the middle of the night, but he insisted this day was extra special for him. There is no time to waste, as the next day meant he had to attend another scheduled event.

He paused playing his demo songs on the speakers to call someone eagerly. It took a few rings before she picked up. He smiled foolishly.

"Kim Taehyung, it's 4 in the morning."

"Good morning, too, Abu." He chuckles. It has been dozens of mornings that he got to hear her morning voice, but calls on such times add a sweet flavor to his cute grumpy voice. "Did I wake you up?"

"You think?" She scoffs. And grunts.

He giggles. "I told you I might visit you early."

She grunts again. "Are you on your way back already?"

Taehyung hums in affirmation. "Mom really wants to meet you. Should we set the date?"

"If I can really get a free time between award shows and the world tour, I'll go straight to their home." She pouts. "Did you apologize for me?"

"As you told me." He chuckles. "I even gave your gift for her. She packed side dishes for you." He checks the GPS screen above the radio. "I'm on my way there."

"I thought the early was, like, six in the morning or so?"

He frowns. If it is what he thinks it is, he'd like to try not to get upset. "I just want to see you this early, that's all. And Love, a 13-hour sleep might have side effects on your body. You slept too early yesterday."

"Hmpf. Fiiine. I want to hear a live Boy in Luv like you did at Gayo Daejun."

"So I'll sing that for you later." He chuckles. "I'll text you when I'm near. Sleep a little bit more. I love you."

"Wuv u, too. And you owe Kai and Kuma a lullaby. You woke them up with the call ringtone."

"I'm ready to pay back, Abu. I'm not running away." He grins, as he gets giddy the lesser distance it takes to get to her dorm compound.

A jumping Jennie Kim welcomed him the instant the elevator door opened. But props to her, she recognized him even in his padded jacket and face mask & cap getup.

"Why were you waiting for me here?"

"Jisoo unnie is a bit sensitive this morning. Her sleep was interrupted, so you can't use our doorbell." She jumps on him for a hug as he stepped out the box. "Bogoshiptae."

"I know, I know." He chuckles and hugs her back. "So where should we stay instead?"

"There's nowhere else to go, so I need your help. We'd have to be extra quiet in the living room. Is that okay?"
