When the girls came back to their dorm, they were all surprised to see Bae Joohyun standing in front of their unit, anxiously waiting for them. When the woman heard the ding of the elevator, her eyes went straight to where the sound came from, and saw them come out of the box. Their wide eyes was enough to shake off her anxiousness, but she went straight to the group and gave them a hug.
"Are you all alright? Mino said you came from the 7th floor office." She caressed both Lisa and Jisoo's shoulders, both who were at the both ends of the hug. When she separated, she touched everyone's cheeks. "I was so worried."
"Thank you for being here, unnie," her eyes now on Jennie who spoke. She gave her a small smile, and opened her arms wide. The younger pouted, but hugged her anyways. She swung both of them side by side. "You're making me cry again."
"Then cry! Cry until you have nothing to cry!" Joohyun tightened the hug. She looked over Jennie's shoulder, to the other three. "My other girls are coming over, too. We're having ice cream. Is that okay with you guys?"
"This means a lot, Irene eomma." Chaeyoung smiles. "You're really an angel."
"Then should we have a movie night tonight?" Lisa suggested. Everyone agreed. "Then Yerim and I will cook the popcorn."
"You will NOT cook, Lalisa." Everyone, including Jennie who just separated from Joohyun and quickly went back to the hug, appealed. Maknae pouted, and everyone else giggled.
"Fine. I'm letting Yerim do it alone."
Everyone finally entered their dorm, Jennie still in the embrace of Joohyun. Everyone was silent. Lisa, Chaeyoung and Jisoo had no regrets on coming out with BTS that time because they had new friends from outside the agency. They did not even givea damn that Jennie can date Taehyung as long as she was happy. But what wrecked them was they were unaware that the two were not in good terms at all. They were used of Jennie talking to him in her room. Oftentimes, everyone was also preparing for their own solos. When they had no Taehyung topics from her, they thought she just wants to keep them for herself until this relationship blooms.
But it was all a dud. Taehyung was nowhere to be found.
Jennie did not want to burden her members with her own problems. The three somehow hated themselves for not being there for her, not until they knew about this ending.
And they all knew she did not deserve to suffer alone with their sajangnim's exaggerated scolding. No one deserves it, at all.
Even while sitting, the girls stick by Jennie. Even being hugged by Joohyun, Jisoo sat beside her, holding her hand. Lisa sat on the floor, in front of Jisoo, her head on Jennie's lap. Chaeyoung came to her bedroom to get Jennie's safety bed best friend to give it to her, then sat on the floor in front of her. She reached out for the remote control and hit Netflix. "So, what should we watch?"
Jennie's heart warms up. The girls have been with her ever since. And especially sticky when she said something about Taehyung's disappearance. She chuckles. "So am I the real Deukie here? You're all clingt yourselves."
Jisoo jerks up. "Should we go to a karaoke room and just sing our hearts out?" She claps. "Ooohhh! Should we drink, too?"
"And go out with Red Velvet?" Lisa brightens up, too, and claps. "Then Dispatch will spotBlackpink and Red Velvet together hAH!!! A real dating news."
"When pictures come out, sajangnim will hate us because we just came from his office. And now we're going out to have fun." Chaeyoung pouts. "I hate him."
All of them gasped on the new behavior Chaeng has been giving. From the typical pure gumball she is, she becomes darker day by day.
Lisa knew this started with Taehyung. She saw her last message to the guy before she unfriended him. This is why you have to flip your phone, sweetheart. Even your member is sneaky.
