Chapter 5

"This rage"

It takes about 3 hours to get to amegakure, and I'm worried sick the entire way. All I can do is fly as fast as I can, and hope that I'm not to late... But what if I am? What do I do? I don't know how I would be able to handle myself if he's gone, before we got to resolve our fight. That, right there, would be the single worst thing that could happen to me, or anyone. I shake the thought out of my head and continue forward.

Finally, I reach the tallest tower. I take a deep breath as I silently creep onto the balcony. Or so I thought. Suddenly, Pain, Konan, and Hidan jump out at me. "Deidara," Pain says, "we've been waiting for you..." I don't have time to react, as they grab me and pull me into the interrogation room. I struggle hard against their grasp as they tie me up. They chain me to the wall, as I try to reach one of my kuinais.

"Let me go!" I yell. Hidan laughs, "You've always been the stupid one, Deidara..." He says, "Along with your stupid puppet..." I growl at him. "Don't call Sasori I puppet!" I angrily reply. He just laughs again. "You may go now." Pain addresses him. He nods and walks out, chuckling.

"Now, Deidara..." Pain begins. "Shut up!" I scream. I'm too blinded by rage to say anything intelligent. "We've already killed Sasori... But you already knew that..." He says, ignoring me. I struggle against the chains that bind me to the wall. Konan looks almost sad... I look at her, and she avoids my gaze, looking at the ground. "You may go as well, lady angel. She nods slightly, and walks out.

I look back to pain, scowling. "I don't believe you." I say. He chuckles lightly. "That's too bad..." He says. "You're only hurting yourself. Oh well, you'll just have to stay here until you accept your fate." My eyebrows furrow. I'm so enraged at him I can hardly think about anything else. He walks over and unbinds me from the wall. I lunge at him but he pushes me down to the ground, knocking the wind out of me. "Pitiful..." He says, and knocks me out cold.
