A/n:

Helloooooo my lovely readers!

That was the end of Letters to Fay. I hope you liked it, thanks sooo much for reading.

If you voted or commented, thank you, it means a lot.

I have to admit, I originally was planning to have Fay pass away, but then I thought SCREW THAT CLICHÉ!

I WILL NOT SUCCUMB TO THE IDEA THAT EVERY TALE OF YOUNG LOVE ENDS IN A FATAL DEATH--though some of those tales are very amazing and beautiful love stories, even if they leave me in a puddle of tears--SO THEY BOTH SHALL LIVE.

[fay sings i will survive in the background as i viciously write the epilogue]

Although, having a happy ever after is a little cliché as well. If you read the epilogue (which you better have or I guess I just spoiled it all for you--fay lives) then you read that zayn mentioned they split for two weeks, which I didn't really expand on, so I'll just give you the whole idea--they fought, bad fight, zayn might've been a little tipsy, fay stormed out, went to live in an apartment with another guy, zayn got angry and jealous and dated another girl, then they basically fell back into each other's arms again when zayn brought up the letters.

So that was kinda the only part where it wasn't working out. Another bad chapter of their lives, I suppose.

But there are good people in this world, and good characters in the many worlds of many books--and I think they deserve a nice ending.

I started to write an alternative ending (a.k.a the epilogue after the epilogue) but I ended up very angry at myself because here's how it started:

dear zayn,

i would be honored to marry you, but i don't love you anymore. i've met someone else.

AND YEAH, CAN YOU BELIEVE I EVEN WROTE THAT?!? That's definitely not part of fay's character.

Anyway, sorry if this authors note bored you. Thanks again for reading.

Stay beautiful, because you are beautiful. You're amazing.

-Kendra
