I didn't mention that in the last book because...
"Just don't stress about it, okay?" Lauren said with a semi-panicky tone.
I watched her pace around her kitchen a little as I sat on the counter. She was the one stressing about this.
"Why are you so scared for me to meet them?" I asked with a giggle, resting my hands on her shoulders as she stood between my legs.
"I'm not scared I just- I don't want them to say or do anything that would scare you off," she admitted.
"Lauren," I said, making her look up at me. "I'm not going anywhere. They won't scare me off."
Lauren smiled and leaned up, connecting our lips in a sweet kiss that was interrupted by a knock on the door.
She gave me a small smile before helping me off the counter, letting out a sigh when the doorbell was repeatedly pressed.
"I'd bet anything that Dinah is the one ringing the doorbell," Lauren mumbled before opening the door, revealing Dinah next to the doorbell as Normani and Ally scolded her.
"Well if it isn't my favorite couple," Dinah teased, walking in and patting Lauren on the shoulder.
"She's a little excited," Normani said as her and Ally walked in.
"You must be Y/n," Ally said, bringing me in for a hug.
"That's me," I smiled, moving to Normani as she gave me a hug as well.
"Hey, I didn't get a hug," I heard Dinah say as I turned towards her.
"Hi, Y/n," Dinah teased, giving me a hug.
"Hey, Dinah," I said, shaking my head as Lauren came to stand by my side.
"You two have met?" Normani asked, motioning between the two of us.
"Not really. I came over to get my charger and found them sleeping. I tried to be nice but Lauser kicked me out," Dinah explained.
I laughed at her explanation as Lauren playfully slapped her on the arm.
"So, I guess I'm now officially meeting your girlfriend," Dinah finished with a smirk as Lauren blushed a deep red.
"Wait. It's official?" Normani asked, causing Lauren to turn and glare at Dinah.
"How about I order some food?" Lauren asked, walking away to call whatever food place she thought of first.
The girls all turned towards me while I looked at Dinah.
"You made her get so awkward," I said, making Dinah giggle.
"Well maybe should should grow a pair and ask you to be her girlfriend," Dinah said.
I slapped her arm and walked over to the couch, throwing Dinah the remote when she walked in after me, Normani and Ally following behind her.
Soon enough Lauren walked into the living room, smiling when she saw us all sitting together making small talk.
"Chinese is on the way. I'm sorry I left you by yourself," she said to me.
"It's fine. We're getting along," I told her with a smile.
"I can see that," she told me, putting her arm over my shoulders and allowing me to snuggle into her side.
