I am happy.
I sent the message and immediately felt a little guilty about it. Almost as if I was lying, but I wasn't.
At least I think I wasn't.
Cam:
Well, then I would like to stay friends if that's okay.
Y/n❤️:
Yea. I'd like that.
"Who ya talkin' to," Lauren said, jumping onto the couch next to me and kissing my cheek.
I hesitated on my answer, debating whether or not to tell her who it really was.
"Camila," I said, watching her eyebrows furrow at me.
"Can I ask you something?" Lauren asked, biting her bottom lip slightly.
"Did you two ever have anything?"
"I don't really know," I answered honestly. "I mean I guess we kind of flirted and stuff. It was never serious though."
Lauren nodded her head at me as she held one of my hands.
"Wasn't she just in a relationship?"
"That's why I cut her off, because I thought she was too," I told Lauren, feeling her bring me closer to her.
"I unblocked her the other day because I wanted her to explain. I guess I wanted closure in a way."
"Yea, I get that," Lauren told me. "That's all you wanted to talk to her about?"
I rose my eyebrows at the question.
What did she think we talked about?
"Yes," I answered. "Do you want to read my messages?"
Lauren's eyes widened when she realized I how I had taken her question.
"No! No, I trust you. I promise. I was just asking," she said, kissing my forehead.
"Can we take a nap?" I asked, pushing my phone away and cuddling into her side.
She giggled and hugged my body, kissing the crown of my head as we drifted off.
