Everything feels so far away,
Like everything is starting to fade.
The people around me
As they become distant memories,
My once strong mind
As it can no longer remember yesterday,
And even myself
As I now drift further from my true self.
If only they stayed by my side,
If only my memory was good again,
If only I could be me once more,
Then maybe,
Just maybe,
I wouldn't be fading
