I always try my best,
Yet I'm never enough for you.
I do my best in class,
But almost perfect isn't enough.
I try to do everyone's chores,
But the few that aren't done fall on me too.
I start to become what you wanted,
But even so, that is wrong too.
I only want to be good enough...
Why can't you see this?
Why can't you be proud of me?
Why am I never enough?
