Is He Alive?/Chapter Thirty Seven

Brianna's Pov
I woke up the next morning, in Niall's arms. I was tired and I had a massive headache. I wasn't in the mood for school or work, so I just shut my alarm off and put the covers over my head. My attempt to go back to sleep only lasted a few minutes, as my phone began to ring. I looked at the name on the phone and it was Josh.

"Hello?" I said, in my groggy morning voice.

"Hey. I told you I would call you in the morning" he said. I didn't respond I just smiled at the phone.

"Are you coming to class today?" He asked.

"No, I don't think I'm gonna. I'm just not up for it" I said as I wiggled myself out of Niall's hold and went to the bathroom.

"Ok. Do you want me to get the notes for you?" He asked as I sat down on the toilet.

"Yes please. Thank you" I said as I quickly did my business, then got up to wash my hands.

"I hate to ask you this because I know you're probably not ready to talk about last but, did you find out what happened to Conor?" He asked and flashbacks from last night flew into my head.

"No, not yet, I guess a cop will call me and tell me something" I said as shrugged my shoulders and put the toilet lid down so I could sit.

"Will you let me know if and when they do? I really want this guy out of your life" he said.

"I know. I do too" I said as I heard Niall get up and start walking towards the bathroom.

"Morning baby. Who are you talking to?" He asked as he walked in, then bent over to kiss me on the cheek.

"Morning. It's Josh" I simply said.

"Ok, well tell him I said hi and scoot, I gotta pee babe" he said and I quickly got up.

"Don't you have school and work today?" He asked as I started to walk out of the bathroom.

"Yea but I'm just not up for it today" I said as I shrugged my shoulders.

"Josh is gonna get the notes for me" I said as I walked back to the room. I laid down on the bed as Niall came back in the room.

"Ok well I'll see you later. I'll bring the notes by Niall's" he said as Niall sat down next to me.

"Ok" I simply said as I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Love you" he said.

"Love you too" I said as I felt myself drifting off to sleep.

"Bye" he said then hung up. I put my phone back on the charger and pulled the covers over me.

"No no, get up" Niall said as he pulled the covers off me.

"Mmmmm why?" I groaned.

"You can go back to sleep, but I need you to eat first" he said as he rubbed my shoulder.

"Niall baby, I'm tired" I said.

"Well at least come downstairs and let me make you breakfast" he said. I didn't respond, I just nodded my head. He walked away expecting me to follow but I didn't.

"Come on" he said after he turned around realizing, I wasn't behind him. I didn't respond I just stretched my arms out to him, insisting that I wanted him to carry me.

"Really?" He asked. Once again I didn't respond I just shook my head yes. He sighed softly, walked back over to the bed, and picked me up.

"I spoil you. You know that, right?" He asked as I nuzzled my head in his neck and wrapped my legs around his waist.
