Baby Time!!/Chapter Fourty Three

One and a half months later

It had been a little over a month since my graduation. I had been job hunting for a music job that I really wanted, but it wasn't as easy as I thought. It seemed like kind of "slim pickens" as they say. I kept searching away though. I knew I would eventually find something. I was sitting in the living room, job searching and waiting for Niall to come home from the garage. I was a little bored. I was so used to having some kind of school work to do, that not doing it felt weird to me. So I decided to call my best friend Josh and see if he could come over. I picked up my phone, found and dialed his number. He picked up after three rings.

"Hello?" he said answering the phone.

"Hey what are you doing?" I asked.

"Not much. Just chilling bored. Not much to do with no more school" he said.

"I know right. I'm super bored too" I told him as I closed my laptop.

"How are you bored? Aren't you still baby preparing?" He asked.

"No. Everything is done. The babies room is ready. We have a closet stocked full of clothes, diapers, and wipes. She got so many toys from the baby shower. Plus we have everything baby proofed. We are all good to go. So I basically have nothing to do but wait until my water breaks" I told him as I reached for the remote.

"So I called because, like I said, I'm bored and no longer want to be bored alone. Come over?" I asked.

"Where is Niall?" He asked me.

"At the garage. He called a little while ago and said they were really busy and they needed him, so he's probably gonna be there all day" I told him.

"Oh wow. That sucks, so you're home alone, pregnant and bored?" He asked.

"Yes very much so" I said as I laughed.

"So please come over and be bored with me?" I asked in my begging voice.

"Alright alright" he said.

"I'll be there soon. Go unlock the door now, so I don't have to wait for you to slow waddle to it when I get there" he said as he laughed.

"Ugh so mean!" I said pretending that what he said hurt my feelings. I was laughing though.

"Yea yea. I'm leaving now, bye" he said then hung up the phone. After he hung up, I got up and went to unlock the door. About ten minutes after I sat down, Josh walked in with my favorite pregnancy snacks.

"Hey prego!" He said then came over to hug me. I smiled in response and hugged him back.

"Hi, it looks like you brought food!" I said excitedly.

"Yes, I did. I got you Skittles, pizza, plain chips, and, Pepsi" he said as he put everything on the coffee table.

"Mmmmm yes! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said in an excited sing song way.

"You're welcome, you're welcome, you're welcome" he said in the same sing song way I did, making fun of me.

"So what ya watching?" He asked as he sat down next to me.

"One of my favorite shows on Netflix Criminal Minds" I told him as I pressed play on it and opened the box of pizza.

"Awsome. You know I love this show" he said as he grabbed a slice of pizza too. After about a half hour of him drooling over JJ and me dying over Morgan, my phone began to ring. It was Niall I figured he was calling to check on me.

"Hello" I said answering the phone.

"Hey baby, whatcha doing?" he asked. I could hear a lot of noise in the back, so I could tell he was still at work.
