"The love of family and the admiration from friends is much more important than wealth or privilege"

The team finally caught a break from their long missions and decided that family time was what they needed. While recon and life risking missions can make a person close with those around them, nothing beats the comfort of settling down home and enjoying the presence of each other.

...

It was late in the evening. The sun already gone down and the cool of the night enveloping the house. With the fire place lit, you and the rest of the Avengers all huddled near each other to share some heat.

At first the conversation was peaceful. Talking about each other's home lives and the funny moments that were shared. However, it all started to take a turn for the worst when your dad just had to add something.

The argument all started when your Steve was rambling about your favourite uncle. He assumed it was Thor or Clint. They were family men so of course he thought they would've won over you with their gentle hearts.

Steve was wrong.

In fact, the most obnoxiously stubborn man, Tony Stark, was your favourite.

For one, he had a lot of money. So whenever he babysat you, you would take advantage of him with your faux innocence and give him those sweet talker eyes. He was wrapped around your finger the first time you asked him to buy your something.

Reason number two, Tony was much more easily going than Clint or Thor. While Tony would drop you off at a park for a couple hours and leave, Clint would majority of the time, baby you. Maybe it was because he as well had kids but when he was watching over you, he was too overprotective and coddling. You didn't mind when you were younger but now grown up, you really wanted to strangle him.

Thor on the other hand, was a clueless man who obviously did not know how to take care of a child. He watched over you once when you were six and later when Steve came back to the base, he saw you tucking in Thor reading him a bedtime story. It was sweet but Thor has no idea what to do when it comes to you.

Tony was an uncle of wonders. He would take you to places that made were RATED R. He wanted a drink? He would take you to a bar but tie your arms and hand. He felt a little risky? He would rally you to the casino where you could help him cheat in a game of poker.

He won every time.

He let you experience the fun every kid needed. There wouldn't be punishments, there wouldn't be lectures, it was just you and him goofing around and causing mayhem. There wasn't a care in a world. Oh how you would love to live like that. Every chance of free time you got, it would be with Tony. No rules just fun.

...

All eyes were on you. Everyone leaned closer to you wanting to hear your answer. The sounds of shallow breaths could be heard. Intensity was in the air.

You took a breathe. "It- it's Tony." You stuttered with slight fear. "Tony is my favourite uncle."

Silence was met until Thor began crying because of the alcohol. Clint and Steve were speechless due to the shock. In front of you, Tony gave you a thumbs up with a toothy grin.

"Look don't take it to heart but he gives me money, loads of money, and he lets me build robots... in his RESTRICTED lab and..."

...

The list was a long one. No one dared to stop you from speaking mainly because Tony would slip a twenty dollar bill to let you continue. He really loved himself and hearing it from you, he loved himself even more.

After you finished Clint spoke with a straight face. "How much does he give you..."

You raised your eyebrow. "Uh, about $200 everything I see him." Clint coughed and spat out his drink.

"You see him four days a week! Tony you $!?#, you still owe me from our bet! I didn't even get one penny!"

"That's how you stay rich bird man" He smirked.

Everyone laughed. Everyone except for Steve. He was mad, real mad.

"Tony! I told you that kids don't need that much money. You'll start a bad spending habit! Then Y/N will become a shopaholic and end up in debt. I swear to god—"

Before Tony could processing what he was going to say, he ended up speaking on impulse. "Yeah well that's not the worst of it big guy! That's nothing compared to the bar, the casino, or even the drip club. Relax okay!" He said while throwing his arms out. He sat back with sigh.

"Tony... what did you just say?" Steve leaned in close daring for him to say something that would tick him off.

Tony sat up at once. "Oops? That was supposed to our little secret right Y/N?" He rubbed your head with a nervous laugh.

Making the best decision that would preserve his future kids and life, he bolted and left. Steve sat in shock but once he realized, he was chasing right after him. You could only hear the screams and yells echoing hallway.

Turning around you saw the rest of the team staring at you ready to pounce.

Clint stepped forward. "Hand over the money kid..."

Distracting them, you threw your dirty socks and shoes at them you ran down the same hallway running for your life. Clint, Bruce, and a staggering Thor all chased behind you.

"Tony! Wait for me!"
