Chapter 52 Astro Projection

Its very early in the morning and the sun has only just risen. I couldn't sleep last night as all I could think about is the people of Asgard and what had really happened to Loki. I refuse to believe he is dead because its Loki and he has fallen into space before and survived. That was back before I met him but I'm sure he is ok, him and Thor. He does have a knack at cheating death.

I hear shouting from outside and its Hela, trying to get the people who are still stuck in the town square to reveal where Heimdell and the sword is.

Heimdell, maybe he will know what happened to them. I have to try and talk to him.

Closing my eyes, I focus on my magic as I reach out to his mind.

"Heimdell, show me where you are. Talk to me, bring me to you."

Suddenly I'm standing inside an old temple where the people are gathered around fires, staying warm as they comfort their families. So many people escaped bad Hela's clutches, I'm pleased. Heimdell stands there with the sword strapped to his back. I have Astro projected again but I did it myself. Learning more every day.

He smiles at me in relief, "Princess Scarlett, we were worried you had perished."

People smile at me as they notice my presence.

I smile at them as I talk to Heimdell, "She needs me if Asgard is to survive Ragnorak and the infinity war otherwise I would be dead. Hela is keeping me prisoner but I'm safe. She is searching desperately for the sword and with the princes dead, it will only be a matter of time before she finds this place."

He raises his eyebrows in confusion, "Scarlett, the princes are alive."

I feel my jaw drop, "What? She said she... I knew she was lying, where are they?"

"They are very far away, I spoke to Thor hours ago and both him and Loki are trying to find a way back here as we speak."

I nod, "Thank you for looking after the people and hopefully I will see you soon."

Then I close my eyes and open them and Im back in my chambers. That is such a clever trick, if only I can learn to project to wherever Loki is. Last time, I focused on Heimdell so this time, I need to focus on Loki.

I close my eyes, "Take me to Loki, take me to him."

Suddenly I open my eyes and I'm standing in a shabby room. My eyes widen as I see Thor, Loki, Bruce and a woman standing there with them. Bruce is alive? And who is that woman? However, I focus on Loki who I can tell is worried sick about everything, about me.

Thor pats him on the shoulder, "Calm down brother I'm sure she is fine."

I take a step and I can move about, that is cool.

Loki signs, "We can't know that for sure."

"Actually, you can." I speak up and they turn and look at me, "See I'm fine."

Loki comes up to me and hugs me before kissing me. I'm so relieved he is ok but Its strange how normal my fake body feels. I keep kissing him before he pulls away, looking at me up and down.

His face drops, "You are not really here?"

"I'm afraid not. I Astro projected myself here to see if you are ok."

He smiles, "I'm fine, we both are."

Thor comes over and hugs me, "Good to see you though."

"Its good to see all of you and whats with your hair? "

He chuckles, "Don't ask."

I then smile at Bruce, "Bruce what the hell are you doing there? On a different planet and wearing Starks clothes?"

Bruce smiles as he comes over, "I crash landed here after Ultron two years ago and have been hulk the whole time."

Loki then speaks up, "What happened to you? Are you safe? Heimdell didn't say."

"I'm alright, bad Hela is keeping me alive as she knows I'm the infinity and how I prevent Ragnorak and Infinity war. I've locked in our chambers with a magical barrier to keep me inside. So yes, I'm safe." I tell him.

He nods as I ask, "How and when are you getting back to Asgard?"

Thor then explains there plan, "We are going to steal the grandmasters ship so we can fly through the devils anus back to Asgard."

"I'm sorry?"

Loki chuckles, "We are stealing a mad mans ship to fly through a big portal back to Asgard."

I chuckle, "I see."

The woman speaks up, "Speaking of which, we should probably get moving while we can."

They all nod and Loki turns to them, "Go ahead, I will catch up with you."

Thor, Bruce and the woman who I think is a Valkyrie say goodbye to me and leave the room, while Loki faces me me.

He kisses me on the lips before holding me close, "I will save you Scarlett, I promise. I love you."

I smile, "I love you to. Come back to me."

Then I blink and I'm back on Asgard, stuck in my room and alone.

I wipe away a tear as I sit down, hating how close I was to Loki and being free. When I am still trapped here, with no way out.
