Chapter 34 Under His Spell

When I wake, I'm the only person in the bed and there is a small note on the pillow. I pick up the note and read it.

Dear Scarlett

You look so peaceful when you are sleeping so I didn't want to wake you. I've gone to an early war council meeting with Thor. I should be back by mid-day but I have placed a magical spell on the room so you should be safe. I love you.

From Loki

God I love him. I get up and change into a green dress and go out onto the balcony. The city is bursting with life as people begin repairing the city after yesterday's attack. I have new powers... I'm not sure if I'm excited or scared.

I try to relax when I feel a magical presence nearby. Oh no, I recognise it. Reluctantly, I turn around to see Thanos standing behind me with his Chitauri. How did he get in?

I'm about to call for help when Thanos says, "Be silent, or I will kill you where you stand."

I nod, knowing I have no choice. My magic is still uncontrollable.

He smirks, "Good girl, now come quietly." He says, as his Chitauri come forward with rope and a gag.

I sign as I turn around and they tie my hands behind my back before forcing the gag on. Wanting to know my fate, I look into Thanos mind and gasp at what I see. His plan... his plan is... oh my god.... He going to turn me into... what he did to Loki. He's going to do to me.

I'm dragged out my room and towards the bifrost, dodging and avoiding people as we make our way there. There is a way I could escape but it's risky and the chance of myself dying, is quite possible.

We reach the bifrost and Thanos knocks down Heimdell before he can get to me.

I sign as I whisper to Loki telepathically, "I will always love you Loki, no matter what happens."

Then I'm taken though the bifrost, scared of what's going to happen next.

Loki's POV

I wished I stayed in bed. This war council meeting has gone on for hours and we are just going around in circles. The only thing that has been agreed is that Scarlett is in danger and we need to improve security. And now they have gone onto numbers and how many soldiers we are going to assign to go after Thanos and cripple his army. I promised Scarlett I would be back by midday. And I didn't really want to leave her alone. I just want this to end.

Then I feel a surge of energy hit me like a jolt and my eyes widen, it's broken.

Thor looks at me, and whispers, "What's wrong brother?"

Odin notices and so does everyone else sitting around the table.

Odin speaks up, "What's wrong?"

"My magical spell has been broken."

Then I hear Scarlett whisper to me telepathically, "I will always love you, no matter what happens."

My eyes widen, "Scarlett's in trouble."

Suddenly, the doors open and Heimdell stumbles in covered in blood. He collapses and I run to his side with Thor and Odin close behind me.

I help him sit up as he whispers, "Thanos... Thanos... he's taken..."

I sign, "I know I heard her. Get him to the healers." I order the guards and they help him and carry him to the healers.

"Prepare the army, we need to leave at once." Odin tells his general who runs out before turning to me, "Are you alright?"

"It's not me I'm worried about." I whisper.

I shouldn't have left her alone. Scarlett, I hope you are ok.

Scarlett's POV

I'm not sure which realm I'm in, but it's dark and cold. I'm placed onto a table made of rock and I can't move.  My body hurts from where I have been tortured and I can't move from the pain. I know Thanos plan.... And I know what he's going to do with me. I'm too weak to move as I feel his magic begin to go into my body. I won't be able to resist much longer. I'm sorry Loki... I'm sorry.
