Chapter 43 Torn Apart

We have spent the last few days not leaving each other sides and it's been great. I think we have finally moved past it all and now we can focus on destroying Thanos. Then maybe after we can try again.

Suddenly, we are awoken by the sound of the door to our room opening and we scramble out of bed.

"What's going on?" Loki asks the guards who stormed in.

They point their weapons at us, "Come with us."

My eyes widen as I notice the colour of their eyes, "Loki, look at their eyes."

He looks at them and he realises, "Bright electric blue, they are under Thanos control. Stay close to me."

I take his hand as we are forced out the rooms by the guards and down towards the grand hall. What is Thanos up to?

We are pushed inside and Thor and Frigga are being held by guards at gun point. While Odin sits on the throne, his eyes glowing blue.

Loki notices and signs in frustration, "Shit, he's controlling my father."

We stop in front of him and Odin speaks, "My puppet and his wife."

Loki glares at him, "Thanos, when did you become a coward? Using my father as your speaker. Release everyone from your trance at once."

Odin chuckles, "You have no control over me."

"What do you want this time Thanos?" I ask.

"I want to destroy anyone who could possibly be a threat against me." He states, "And Odin and his family is the ultimate threat."

I glare at him, "And how are you going to do that? Kill us?"

"Oh no, that would be too easy. One way to destroy a person, is to rip them from their loved ones." He smirks at me, "And you, Scarlett, are the one person who brought this family together oh so long ago."

My eyes widen as I'm grabbed my guards, "Let go of me!!!."

"Scarlett!!" Loki reaches for me but is held back by guards.

I struggle as I glare at him, "Let me go Thanos."

He chuckles, "Why would I do that? You are centre of this family, if I remove you then they will crumble. Now to think, how to get rid of you."

Loki is pulled further away from me as Thanos speaks again through Odin, "I shall do what Odin, the king of Asgard would do. Banish you to... Alfheim. Somewhere where not even your husband can find you!!"

I struggle frantically as he orders, "Lock them all in the dungeons and keep them all in separate cells. Especially the love birds."

The guards begin dragging us out of the hall and I struggle as I'm dragged into the dungeons with Loki, Thor and Frigga close behind. I'm pushed into an glass cell and I hit the floor as it shuts. I hear a grunt and Loki lands in the cell next to mine with Frigga on the other side of him and Thor on my side.

"Scarlett, are you ok?" Loki asks as he comes up to the glass.

I go up to it, "Yeah I'm alright. Apart from the fact your father who is under Thanos control, is going to banish me to Alfheim."

He signs, "I will save you."

"I know you will. But how are we going to save Asgard?"

I sit down in the cell and Loki does the same as I lean against the glass cell. Thor and Frigga have done the same as I try to relax.

"We need to remove the spell on him." Thor says, butting in our conversation, "Surely one of you can perform a spell strong enough to snap out of it."

Frigga nods, "Yes but I'm not strong enough."

"I could." I speak up.

Loki shakes his head, "Yeah you could but the spell would be so strong, it will drain you. You won't be able to defend yourself."

"We don't have much choice."

He signs, "Scarlett..."

"I can trust you to save me, I always have, always will. So, let me do this."

He nods, "Alright, but I still don't like this."

Thor signs, "None of us do. But I don't have my hammer, Father is being controlled by Thanos who now wants to banish Scarlett for some reason. Thanos seems to hate you."

I nod, "I noticed, he has been wanting to kill me for ages. I hope one day I find out why."
