My Love

Chapter 15: We Made It

I woke up to the comforting vanilla scent. But nothing was more comforting than me holding my love in my arms, who's light snores were heaven to my ears. She was still asleep so I took the time to admire her beautiful face and how perfect she looked when all the muscles in her face were relaxed. I found her so beautiful. Even with the messy hair and light acne that she absolutely despised, I still found her perfect. We were able to sleep in slightly late. I eventually woke her up.

"Camz, wake up." I said, lightly shaking her.

"Mmm." She groaned. She opened her eyes and turn towards me. As. My hand was running softly through her silky hair, she smiled.

"Good morning." She said adorably.

"Good morning." I said slowly, mimicking her tiredness.

We got dressed and ready while chatting with each other about the most random subjects. We went to have breakfast and sat down at the table. Usually Camila would sit with Dinah or we would all sit together, but I really wanted to have all to myself this morning.

"You make a really nice teddy bear." I joked.

"Thanks. You're not too bad yourself." She said, winking. We talked throughout the morning and drove to MTV studios.

We sat down at our usual places and awaited our announcement.

"Okay, guys. We have an amazing surprise for you and we just know you'll freak out." An MTV worker said excitedly. I was starting to freak out and I didn't even know what it was yet.

"And even better, we have a special guest to deliver it for us." She said smiling. She turned the TV on that hung on the wall and when I saw his face my stomach started to hurt.

Austin.

"Hey, MTV. The VMAs have just announced their nominations. Me being the last winner of the Artist To Watch category, I'm going to announce the nominations for this year. First up, 5 seconds of summer for 'She Looks So Perfect'. Next up is Sam Smith for 'Stay With Me. Next, we have Fifth Harmony for 'Miss Movin' On..." Our screams cut him off and we did hear the rest.

We all leaped out of our chairs and hugged each other. Ally started sobbing and so did Camila. After our huge group hug, Camila leaped into my arms and I spun her around. I couldn't believe this. We were nominated for a VMA.

"Oh my God, Lauren! Oh my God!" She squealed while rightly wrapping her arms around my neck.

"This is so crazy. I can't- I don't even know what to say." I said with a loss of words. The celebrating went on and we had food there to celebrate with.

Once it was time to leave and we got into the van, Camila was still crying tears of joy. We were all elated. I wrapped my arm around Camila's shoulder and pulled her close to me and spoke to her softly.

"Babe, we made it."
