I NEVER ACTUALLY never went to sleep last night. After Aang and I talked, he walked back and fell asleep on Appa. While I sat in the same spot all night, thinking. And thinking some more.

I was so lost in thought I didn't notice everyone was up and packing.

"Saki." Katara's hand meets my shoulder causing me to jump. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." She smiled. I gave her a week grin, jumping onto the ground. "Are you okay?" Her tone suddenly grew worried.

"Yeah. I'm okay." I made it more believable this time, but's it's Katara. She knows me too well.

"Saki. What's wrong." She asked again, only this time raising her eyebrow, and crossing her arms. "It's nothing, I promise." I give her more of a convincing smile as I pull myself up. I follow Katara to Appa and smile at Aang who's beaming. "It's beautiful Saki! Just wait intel you see it!" He jumps down. Katara pulls herself into Appa saddle along with Sokka.

"Aang, before we get to the air temple I want to talk to you about the airbenders." Katara moves down to where Aang is sitting and they have there own conversation. I'm honestly completely blocking it out.

"You okay?" Sokka's voice interrupts my thoughts. A slight flow of aggravation goes through me but I brush it off. "Yeah. I'm fine." I dryly state.

"You just seem distant." Sokka comes closer to me, "Look I know we have our differences just about every other day. But I want you to know I care about you. You kinda are my sister in a way." He smiles. I finally look Sokka in the eyes for the first time in a long time. I never noticed how blue they really were. "Well. You kinda are my brother. In a way." I repeat his words mocking him slightly, but clearly joking. "You can always talk to me about you're you know... spiritual.. avatar... stuff." He stutters. I couldn't help but have the goofiest grin on my face.

"I love you Sokka."

"I love you too."

Soon what feels like hours have passed, beautiful temples come into view.

"There it is... the southern air temple."

I take in my surroundings, feeling shocked and speechless that I'm here. It was breathtaking. Yet again, it looked worn and broke down at some parts. Almost like part of it was... dead. I felt my stomach sink as the thought entered my mind. I didn't have a good feeling about this.

"Aang, it's amazing." Katara couldn't fathom the view, or the thought she was at the southern air temple.

I couldn't help but overhear Aang, "we're home buddy. We're home."
