LOVE IN HIGH SCHOOL

chapter 23

Kellin's POV

I couldn't sleep at night. And i had to go to the school earlier, i sent the message to Vic to not wait for me and just meet me in school. Vic wasn't in the same classes with me that day.

My teacher couldn't attend the class, so i joined Patrick in the cafetaria. He told me that him and Pete broke up and now he dating a girl. Then, something interruped my mind and it was Vic.

Also, i've never told anyone about my feelings for Vic. Everybody knows we're best friends And i was a bit shy if anyone of them would find out. But still, it was haunting me.

Few hours later few of my friends came and joined us including vic, Joe and Andy. Both of them Made a silly callenge which caused a lot of weird noises, Spencer came and talked to Ryan in the corner. What happened in my head? I didn't even know what i've been thinking of.

I chose to go outside for a while.

"Kellin, where are you going?" Vic asked when i was about to leave the table.

"Um.. bathroom." I Made it up and he believed me. I stepped in the corridor and met Jamie, Tony, ariel and Tiara. They waved at me and i waved my hand back at them.

"Bro, where are you going?" Tony asked as he gave me high five when i came to join them.

"Good. You?" I asked him back.

"Good. Thanks, buddy." Tony responded.

For a Few minutes i sat with them but i couldn't concentration on the conversation.

"Kellin. Are you alright?" Ariel snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Um.. what?" I asked her. Basically i asked them all because i didn't listen to them clearly. Oh, ya. They asked them if i'm alright or no.

"Yeah. Yeah, i'm alright. Why?" I asked her back.

"You're looked like you're overthinking. What happened?" Ariel asked me.

"Well, do you have any problem? Cause maybe we can help you." Jamie continued to say.

"Yeah." Tiara and Tony said.

"Um.. nothing. Everything is okay." I told them.

"Are you sure?" I still couldn't tell them what actually happened and what i'm thinking about right now. I didn't know, i don't feel ready yet.

Then i told them that i had to go and yes. I just Made it up. And i hate my self to keep doing that, like i couldn't keep calm right now. When i went to the corridor and i didn't even know where i wanted to, Ariel called me.

"Hey, what's up? Is Everything okay? I asked her.

"I came here to asked you that." She said. Ariel and I were in the same school and same class when we were in high school and junior high school. We were not really close enough when we were in high school. And when i met Vic.

"Really?" I asked her.

"Yeah. We're still friends, kellin. I know you must have something on your mind. Usually, You're not like this. It's okay, kellin. If you want to talk, i'm here. You know that, right? And i absolutely..."

"I fall in love with Vic." I absolutely said that. I didn't know what to expect that. It was disturbing my mind especially when Vic around me. I really wanted him to know the truth.

"What?" Ariel seemed suprised. Well, she's the only one and the first person that i've told about this.

"Yeah. And i'm fucking confused what am i supposed to do?." I said

"Since when?" She asked.

"A year ago." I told her and it was the truth. I started to fall in love with Vic when we were in summer camp school a year ago untill now.

"Oh. I get it now. Well, just go and tell him. I know it might be not easy for you, but at least he'll know that." Ariel explained and smirked.

"But... What if he Will stay away from me after that?" I asked her.

"Just give him time to figure out what his heart wants. I'm sure he Will never stay away from you. The problem is you. Are you ready for the possibilities?" She said and i know she's right. I just have to get ready for what Vic will say. At least i feel relief when i told him.

After thinking too much, i Made a decision to just told him the truth. So, i wrote something and texted Vic to met me at the school's roof top.

"Bro, what happened?" Vic said and stepped close to me.

"I want to show you something. But in one condition." I said.

"Okay. What is it?" Vic said and giggled.

"You have to promise me that you Will never get mad at me. Okay?" I explained.

"I promise." Vic said. With nervousness i gave him the letter that i wrote to him and he started to read. I was waiting for his responds and his expression on his face.

"So.. all these letters, poems, and songs were from you?" Vic asked and he seemed so suprised.

"Yeah. It was me, Vic."
