CHAPTER THREE — ♡ —
"so jinnie, how do you like your ice cream?" seungmin questioned, "are you enjoying out little date?"
hyunjin slightly nodded, stabbing his ice cream with his spoon. for some reason, conversating with seungmin seemed so hard. his word choice became limited and the look in seungmin's eyes were petrifying.
well not petrifying, but still scary.
"jinnie. I asked if you're enjoying our date, answer." as he raised his voice.
"I—I'm loving it."
"that's good to hear! I was hoping that you'd say that. I don't want jinnie to have a bad time. you're having a good time right?"
hyunjin nodded, but then received a glare from the boy.
"use your words."
"y—yes I'm having a good time."
"great! here smile for the camera jinnie, you look so cute!" hyunjin faked a smile and put up a peace sign.
what the hell was up with this boy? is all hyunjin could think. he was so stiff, moving seemed like a sin. talking back was a death wish.
"jinnie, we don't know each other that well. so tell me more about yourself."
"well..I'm an only child. I really like got seven's park jinyoung, uh. I like music and dance. and I have a dog name kkami.. c—can you please stop staring at me like you're gonna kill me.."
seungmin pouted, "why would you think that jinnie!! I would never hurt you..but you really like park jinyoung hm?"
hyunjin nodded. gulping the lump in his throat, his palms became sweaty. shit, why am I getting nervous.
seungmin leaned in close, "how much jinnie?"
"I—I like him a lot..but not in a romantic way! he's like a role model, you know?"
seungmin pursing his lips from satisfaction he smiled, "that's good."
as hyunjin became lost in his thoughts, why is seungmin so moody..he's one person one minute, then becomes someone else in seconds. but, i kinda like it..he's really cute. and bubbly, his smile is to die for and—
"jinnie! were you even listening!"

hyunjin blinked, "huh, w—what. sorry I was thinking.."
"it's okay jinnie! I didn't really say anything important. but do you think we can have more dates like these?"
hyunjin quickly nodded, wait. usually I don't do second dates. "wait actually—"
"actually what?" as he gave puppy dog eyes, "d—do you not like me.."
"no! it's just..I need to see when I'm free."
"oh! you could've just said so silly! I'm free when you want me. so I'll be waiting jinnie."
hyunjin nodded, "I—I should be going home. see you tomorrow at school seungmin.."
grabbing his belongings, he said his goodbyes to the boy and left the parlor. once hyunjin was out of seungmin's sight. his cheeky smile and sparkling personality immediately disappeared.
his expression became serious, looking at the photo on his phone. he gave a little smirk, "your face is so beautiful. I can't wait to see you bawling for me to stay with you."
