I felt pain in my chest. I was shaking and I felt like I couldn't breathe.

"Jaylee, can you hear me?" A female voice called.

"Jaylee come on. We got to stop meeting like this. Jaylee!" Orlando was here.

"Jaylee, this is Christie. Wake up. Do something. Snap out of it."

"It's time for you all to leave. The doctors need to get in here."

Orlando

I don't know what's going on with Jaylee. I leave her and she is fine. I come back, she having an attack. I knew I shouldn't have left but I had to handle business. Kasey been blowing me up since I got here.

She texting and calling me every minute. She need to understand that we're not together in no type of way. Kasey and I had a little fumble after a party at her place. That's it. I got tired of my phone vibrating, I turned it off.

A lady near me was pacing back and forth. Tears were streaming down her face, she had not long ago got off the phone. I didn't understand what she said because she was crying. A man walked around the corner and she ran to him.

"Baby, Jaylee. I don't know. Something just went wrong. I just don't know." She cried. The man whispered in her ear and she started to calm down as he rocked her in his arms.

After two hours of them working on Jaylee, the doctor came out the room. She smiled brightly at us.

"Yes, it does mean everything is okay." She said referring to the big smile on her face.

"Jaylee is wide awake. We'd like to speak with her parents."

"We're her parents." The man and woman to my right yelled to the doctor. Parents?

"Wonderful." The doctor looked at me in a dismissing way. I nodded.

"Is it okay if I see her?" I asked. She nodded and told me, "Go for it."

I walked into Jaylee's room. Jaylee was sitting upright in the middle of the bed just staring. I honestly don't think she noticed I walked. I pulled chair next to her bed.

"Jaylee, what's wrong? Talk to me." I said grabbing her hand.

"You can't help me, Orlando. I got to get out of this state and this hospital. "She said looking down at her hand in mine.

"Why Jaylee? You still haven't told me anything." She started to break down crying. I sat behind her in her bed and pulled her in my chest while wrapped my arms around her.

"Orlando, you can't be here. You'll get kilt messing with me. Please, I don't want you to get hurt. Leave-Leave Orlando."

"Tuh, I'm already wanted. I'm good here with you, Jaylee." I said rubbing circles in her arm. She looked backed at me.

"Don't you have a girlfriend, Mister?" She asked me with a small smile on her face.

"Nope."

"Then, who was that girl? The one, you were on the phone with the other day."

"I'm going to be honest. A girl that I used to fumble with."

"Fumble with? Really? I guess, it's none of my business." We laughed. I grabbed the phone off of the table. I knew it was her phone because the lock screen said Queen Jay.

"Smile." I said taking a picture of me and her. I put the picture as my contact picture and her lock screen.

"Let me see." She said taking the phone from my hand. She sucked her teeth. I laughed.
