I groaned. I rolled over then opened my eyes.

"Shit". I said looking to see that I'm in my bed.

I don't even remember how I got home. I continued to lay there. So I could think back to the night before. Last thing, I fully remember was pushing that bitch off my lap.

I groaned again while I stretched.

"Baby." I looked around my room. Who said that?

"Babe." I squinted my eyes.

"Jay?" I said recognizing her voice. Wait a minute. How could that be her voice?

"Man, what was in the blunt Kilo gave me? Cause I'm tripping. I just know I heard my girl voice." I said throwing my feet off the side of the bed to rise up.

"I just know that was her. " I told myself while shaking my head. I heard laughing.

"Baby, it is me. You called me last night. You never hung up. So, I stayed on the line plus I knew how drunk you were. So I wanted to make sure you got home safe. " She said. I saw my phone on the dresser.

I walked over and grabbed it. I sat back onto the bed.

"Oh okay, beautiful. "

"You're so silly". She said while laughing. "You must really got messed up last night to think you're hallucinating."

I chuckled. " I ain't going to lie. I did. I don't remember calling you. I don't know how I got home. "

"Uh, I heard a man try to get you out of the club. He was telling you that he'll take you home." Jay explained to me.

"Oh, okay. It's been awhile since I got like that." I admitted.

"I'm surprised that you're still not sleep or at least hungover. "

"Baby girl, getting high and drunk was all I used to do in the past. I just sleep it off and go about my day when I wake up." I told her taking off my shirt. I just noticed I was fully dressed from last night.

"So you were drunk and high at the same? I'm happy that you didn't do anything stupid." She said then she paused. "Wait you didn't do anything stupid, did you?"

"No beautiful. " I said taking off my pants. "It's not as bad as you think. Have you ever gotten high or drunk before?" I walked into the bathroom.

"No, I'm not into that stuff."She answered. I chuckled.

"We'll see." I turned on the water to allow it to get hot.

"No, we won't. Anyway, the landlord lady for the condo called. We can move in on Wednesday. "

"That's good. I wish I was home to be with you. You know. So I could help you pack. " We sighed at the same time.

"Me too, baby. I feel stressed out. Like, I'm not ready to go over to my parents' house and face them again. Mr. Caroline called Lucas, my real dad, and told him that he should talk to me about moving in with you. "

"I'm sorry, beautiful, for all of this. Man, so what they both hate me now?" I asked.

"No, Mr. Caroline doesn't hate you and Lucas doesn't know anything. He just knows I have a boyfriend who I'm about to live with. "

"It's feels like he hates me. At least, one of your dads don't want to wipe me out of your life. "

"Now that we're talking about my dads. Lucas wants to meet you. "

"Okay, when?"

"So you'll meet him?" She questioned me.

"Yeah".
