[ For those who don't know what's going on, the boys decided that it was best for them not to go to school with Layla because they thought it wasn't working out. 'Cause you see they've ended up in the principal's office. Principles office because Layla told them she would pick them up they've waited too long and they ended up in the principles office. So yeah.]

I can't believe them. They brought me to the scary basement and drenched me with water. Not just water. Coldwater! They tricked me into thinking it was eight a clock. See what I have to deal with. But I can't hate them. It's hard to hate them. I'm mad at them though. I marched down hell (I call school hell) and into English class. All it was was talk, talk, talk, boring, boring, boring and so as the other classes. Then all of a sudden Gym popped up out of nowhere. Now I have to move everywhere. I eagerly threw my shirt on the floor and pick it up eventually and threw it in the locker. I slammed it shut. (I'm having a bad day.) Thankfully no one looked at me weirdly. They probably feel the same way. I somehow managed to walk all the way to the gym seats where we sit and stare.

"Um, Layla?" I shot my head towards Ashton pulling my eyebrows up as a reply. "Are you have a bad day the same way I'm a having a bad day?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Yeah. I don't know. I'm not in your point of view."

"What happened to you." I kicked my feet around.

"I woke up from someone pouring a bucket of water on me, I was in the basement and got tricked into thinking it was eight a clock when really it was six a clock."

"That's messed up."

"What about you?"

"I went downstairs, found out there were no more Lucky Charms and my little sister cut a strip of my hair while I was sleep." Ashton showed me the strip of hair that was cut.

"Your's is worse than mine." He nodded.

"Do you guys and gals see that rope right there?" We all said (Except me) yeah or mumbled. "Well guess what . . ." I stared at the coach. "Each and every single one of you is climbing it today!" I cringed at the phrase every single one. Everyone in the gym was groaning and swearing. Could this day get any better?

Coach clapped his hands.

"Who wants to go first?" Coach looked around. All I could hear was crickets chirping in the background.

"How about boys go first and then girls?" No one said anything. "Boys go first." There was nothing but groans. All the boys semi-stood up and walked like zombies to the rope that was hanging from the ceiling. I crossed my arms and slumped back enjoying the feeling that I'm not doing anything for a couple of minutes.

"I know you guys are still into the spirit of spring break but, we have to wake up and get things done. C'mon wake up." Coach claps his hands multiple times almost non-stop. Every sound right now makes me flinch, squirm and semi-wake up all the way. All I want is peace and quiet so I could fall to sleep. I start to daze off. My eyes getting heavier. I felt my head fall to the side. I immediately picked it up and try not to doze off.

"Let's go. Let's go." The Coach yelled at the boy who was only grasping the rope and not climbing up the rope. I heard a sigh then he started climbing the rope. Then all of sudden someone yelled It's the girl's turn. I picked my head up.

Think I was sleeping. I hurried up and dragged myself to the rope. I went slow so that I won't be the first in line. I went all the way to the back of the line. I was thinking about sitting on the floor. The line was going faster than I thought it would go.

"You're up next." I looked up. I swore under my breath. "Now all you gotta do is climb the rope and pretend there are sharks in the water or lava." I stared at Coach. Is he really gonna say that? He said it like I was some six-year-old little kid.

"Whatever." I walked towards the rope and started to climb up but stopped and dropped on the floor once my foot lost contact with the floor. "Nope, nope, I'm not climbing that rope." I saw the smirk on the coach's face but he wasn't smiling, it was just an emotionless face that Harry sometimes makes.

"Are you kidding me? Almost everyone in this gym climbed the rope. Now come on. Climb the rope like a big kid." Said the one who talked to me like a little kid.

"Alright, I'll pretend I'm on the lava." I sighed and climbed the rope. I kept on climbing until I heard a stop. I opened my eyes and looked down.

"Aw, hell." I should have never opened my eyes until I was back down on the floor.

"Stay calm and just climb back down. That's all." Coach yelled. I kept my eyes closed and climbed back down the rope. Once my foot was in contact with the floor I opened my eyes and never looked up at the rope. The coach was smiling.

"See, now that wasn't so bad." He patted me on the shoulder. "Now that Quinn's done, we can all have free time." I walked back over to my previous seat. "Every single one of you is doing something in your free time. No slacking." I looked down and sighed. I dragged myself to the jump rope and act like I was jumping rope. When really I was just swinging rope back and forth.

"One minute before we go to the next class!" The coach said staring at his watch. I tossed the rope back where I found it and walked into the locker room to change.

I marched down in the street ignoring the fact that my bookbag weighed a ton. Watched a car pass by and continued my journey to my house. I wish it was neverland. Slammed the door shut which cause my mom to come down from the stairs. Oops.

"How was your day at school?" I don't know I felt like a piece of shit and I climbed a rope. "I played jump rope with my friends." I smiled. Half of it was true.

"Oh, you did?"

"Yup." I walked past her and went upstairs into my room. "Layla?" I peeked my head in the doorway. "Yeah?"

"The delivery man came by and gave me a kinda big box that had your name on it." My mind wandered off until something clicked. One word. Cameras! I did a dance and replied trying to sound calm and casual.

"Where did you put the box?"

"It's, um, next to your bed, I think." I looked behind me. Once I saw the box I ran to it. "Thanks, mom!" I yelled.

"Your welcome?" I tore the box open. There was a chorus going on in my head. There were a set of five cameras and a bunch of cords.

Now, this camera is going on my bookshelf. I grabbed the first camera and placed it at the edge of the bookshelf on the top shelf. Then this camera goes into the hallway. I secretly opened the door and stuck the camera on the wall over my doorway. I went back in and grabbed the last three cameras. I want to get the basement done and over with. I semi-ran to the basement and stick the camera right next to some kind of stick that holds the stairs and it was facing towards the stairs. I ran back upstairs and tried to not look back. I placed the fourth camera under the tv behind the Playstation. I walked into the kitchen and tried to think about a good place to place the camera. I hung the camera over the cupboard doorway. I went back upstairs and up to my room.
