Your Point of View.

I anxiously bite at my finger nails as I stare at the clock.

Is he hurt?

Did he get caught?

Where is he?

Jiggling of keys at the door snaps me out of my thoughts. I quickly hop up and race over to the door. It opens to reveal a tired Jason. I immediately hug him.

"I was so worried about you. What took you so long?" I ask.

"Sorry, we lost track of time."

"I'm glad you're okay. I thought you'd been shot or something."

"Nah, I'm all good." He laughs hugging tighter.

"Well you're in a good mood." I comment.

"Ugh, everyone keeps saying that. Don't get used to it."

I pull out of the hug to look at him, I then grab his face and kiss his lips.

"What was that for?" He asks.

"Do I need a reason to kiss my boyfriend?" I giggle.

He lets out a sigh of relief and hugs me again.

"Okay, now what was that for?" I question.

He chuckles. "Do I need a reason to hug my girlfriend?" He jokes.

"I guess not." I hug back. "Alright, well, you must be tired. Lets get to bed."

"Okay." He tightens his grip on me. "Jump."

"What?"

"Just do it." He laughs.

I jump up and wrap my legs around him, he then proceeds to carry me into the bedroom. He lays me under the covers and tucks me in, kissing my forehead.

"You're so cute." I smile.

"Hey, I'm not cute." He argues.

"You're right. You're adorable." I tease.

He rolls his eyes and takes of boots. He then switches off the lamp and gets under the sheets. I snuggle in close to him and he wraps an arm around my waist.

"I love you." He says.

I look up to meet his eyes. "I love you too." I plant a kiss on his cheek.

I then rest my head upon his chest and fall asleep listening to his heartbeat.

I wake up to an absence of Jason. I groan and get up.

Walking out of my room, I search for him.

"Jason." I call. No answer.

The front door starts to open and he steps inside.

"Hey, where'd you go?" I ask.

"I went to get breakfast." He says simply.

"You didn't have to do that, I could've made breakfast."

"I felt bad that you alway's make breakfast, but I can't cook, so I got the next best thing." He pulls a bag from behind him.

"Aww." I open it. "How'd you know I loved chocolate pancakes?"

"Lucky guess." He shrugs.

"Well thank you baby." I peck his lips.

"Baby?" He questions.
